Have bought from the Dick Smith online store numerous times and have always been very happy with the service and products provided. They do tend to overpack sometimes - not so good for the environment, but it does make sure items arrive in good condition.
On this occasion it was batteries and a charger that I ordered. I received immediate notification of my order, and within a matter of hours was notified that my order had been shipped. It arrived within about 2 days of having placed my order.

Frequently buy items from them. They accept WISH gift cards and I get them through 5% dicount so getting additional discount on already discounted price on some of the items. Sad to note that many stores have been closed and that Woolies is selling them.

Bought a Jabra Freeway Handsfree Car Kit from Dick Smith. They were having a sale and bought it for $99.
I chose to pick up the item from my nearest Dick Smith store as it was on the way home from work. All I had to do was to print out my purchase order and provide photo id when picking up.

Click and Collect is easy
Dick Smith's online catalogue makes it very simple to see whether local stores have stock or not, prior to taking a trip specially to buy an item. In my case this is a 40m round trip, so it is well worth taking the time to check for stock availability online.
I had been looking for a Kindle Touch, and with Christmas coming up, and its impending withdrawal from sale, was having trouble locating one. I discovered via the online site that my local DSE store had some in stock, so using the Click and Collect feature, had one reserved until I could collect the following day.
As always, the item had been set aside and was ready for me to collect when I went the following day, and they'd also taken the trouble to get together a few accessories that I might also be needing.

Chromecast
I decided it was time to get a Chromecast and Dick Smith had a great deal on one. I'm one of those people who want something as soon as they order it. So click and collect is a great option.
Dick Smith offer an easy to use click and collect option that not only lets me pay online or in-store but lets me pay online using PayPal as well as a credit card, which is very handy.
I was able to place my order with PayPal quickly and easily and their website auto-filled most of my details from my PayPal account.
I received an email notification telling me my order had been placed and a PayPal receipt. However it took a fair while to say my order was ready for pickup, but I did receive an SMS and email.
Pickup was easy, just having to show the SMS or email (I showed the SMS) and no ID was required for a purchase under $100.
