DONT BUY THINGS OF KOGAN IF YOU WANT A WARRANTY
ive never experienced such poor customer service in my life it was horrible i sent my phone back to them to get fixed and almost a month later they get back to me and say there is nothing we can do we will send you the invoice for return shipping AND THE PHONE WAS UNDER WARRANTY. They blamed it on me when it wasnt my fault. Never buy something off Kogan if you might have to return it because they will just f**k you over

The special that wasn't
Ordered an Ovela Wicker Sun Bed Lounger from Kogan. It was listed as a "Hot Deal" at $100 less than its regular price. I'm a regular Kogan customer and logged in to complete the order. It listed my residential address by default and displayed "Delivery: Free". When I attempted to check out it complained that it could not deliver to my address (Mount Martha). I assumed this is because of the free delivery and that it's restricted to metro areas so I selected the metro Melbourne address of the recipient of the gift. My Credit Card details from the last purchase appeared immediately and I confirmed the purchase. I then found I had been charged $99 for shipping! I must have missed that bit! No amount of correspondence would convince Kogan that I should be reimbursed shipping. They simply continually stressed that free shipping was only available at the non "Hot Deal" price and that I have bought the item at its lowest ever price! I saved $1!! Super Hot Deal wouldn't you agree?

Kogan drags online customer service to a new low
Kogan withdrew over $1060 from my credit card without proper verification. After four days, they still have my money.

I have tried to contact them, but they don't list their email address on their mobile website. When I contacted them through Facebook, I was quickly blocked from messaging or leaving comments.

Is this an acceptable way for an online store to treat its customers? If this is how online shopping works, I want no part of it.

CHARGED $45 POSTAGE COST-WHEN IT WAS FLAT RATE $9.99!!!!!
Today I bought a heap of stuff from the Kogan pantry online, the shipping was a flat rate $9.99, or so I thought. Upon checkout, they gave you no sub-total including the postage price-which I was suss about-only the grand total of the goods purchased.

It wasn't until I got the email receipt that I almost choked! I had been charged $45 for postage!!! WTF!!! I am not happy at all. Why I was charged so much is a mystery. What a sneaky and deceptive thing to do-especially to a new first time customer.

I am hoping to cancel my order and I may have to contact Fair Trading if I get the royal bumsteer. Will keep you updated of this disaster and how it pans out. Wish me luck!
Kogan conveniently posted out all my items and then responded with 'too bad for you". I have put in a complaint with Fair Trading + awaiting response. If they don't agree I will lodge a complaint with the bank. I was over charged $35 postage as I bought free items also. This Kogan company are very sneaky and there is no sub total for postage when you combine items. Don't let this happen to you!

Never Again Kogan
Bought a Sony Z3 phone because I like quality products. Arrived a couple of weeks later with a cheap, poorly finished charger branded Kogan nowhere near the Sony quality, not impressed. The phone had a technical fault, ok it happens. Contact Kogan, and told to reset the phone which I did to no effect. They told me to take a photo of both sides and email it to them which I refused as I don't have a camera and the problem is inside the phone and when I asked they gave me no reasonable answer why they needed the photos in my situation. When I still refused they said it would take days for the manager to contact me.

After posting a negative review on another website they replied immediately with another request. I answered the first 2 questions but couldn't answer the 3rd because there is no serial number on the phone or packaging. I believe their guarantee policies are designed to make customers jump through a few hoops to sort out the serious complaints from the not so serious, and if you don't play ball they will make it hard for you. Given the incredible buying experiences I have had buying stuff from all over the world, I will never buy another thing from this company. I could have bought it cheaper through Hong Kong websites with less hassle.

NEVER AGAIN!
I have had the worst on-line shopping experience on Kogan, and I do a lot of on-line shopping. I had the exact same experience as DavidAg and fred6ft. I ordered cupboards for my house as I was moving into a place which had no cupboard space in the bedroom. I saw that my item would be dispatched in 3 days so I bought it. I received an email with my tracking number and it said that my item had been received with AusPost. I checked everyday as the item hadn't arrived. I contact Kogan numerous time about the where abouts of the item and they said it had been sent. Then 1 month after chasing them up, I received an email from them saying it was never sent and they were out of stock and asked if i wanted the same in a different colour, i said yes. waited another week then they told me they didn't have the other colour in stock. So i decided to get 2 smaller cupboards and I requested that the extra $10 that I would have to pay on top of my store credit would be waved due to the issues they had caused and refused to do so. I waited another 2 weeks for Kogan to apply the store credit to my name but after constantly contacting them and Kogan telling me that it's still in review with senior management I told them to refund me the money. I received an email a few days later saying my refund would be processed in 48 hours, I never received the refund, I got in contact again, they said it will take upto 7 days for it to go into my account. I waited 14 days and called them back and threatened that I would go to the ombudsman and the next day my refund was in my account. But I only got a part payment, $2 off the total amount wasnt paid to me.
Word of advice, DO NOT BUY OFF KOGAN! THEY ARE A WASTE OF TIME AND EFFORT, JUST GO TO A LOCAL STORE AND GET THE RIGHT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND YOUR GOODS ON TIME!

One of the worst service you can get
I ordered a samsung note on November 2014 for my mom as Christmas gift. It was not until Feb next year that she started to use the phone. Turn out that the phone was LOCKED. It was not UNLOCK PHONE like the website had said. I called them up to fix the issue. They had to generate a unlock code - fine, no problem. After a week, no reply. I had to phone them up again, asking for exchange. Well, apparently they only gave me two choices: 1. wait for the unlock code. 2. return the phone for them to fix - and definitely what they'd do was waiting for the unlock code anyway. NO EXCHANGE GRANTED. They promised me to get back to me in 2 weeks, if not, they will bring it to the "upper management". Well after two weeks the manager returned to me with this:

"Please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused to you.

We have just been notified that unlock orders are currently delayed at the moment.

This is a global issue, all unlocking company are experiencing this delay.

We sincerely apologise for the situation.

I have escalated the issue and organised for an unlock code to be generated for you.

I will pass the code directly onto you once we receive it,it will be passed via this email conversation.

If you have any further queries in the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kindest regards,
(MOD: Personal Name Removed)"

Now it was the unlocking company's fault. MORE WAITING. I contacted them on 18 FEB for the code, and finally they gave me the code on 23 MARCH. AND THE CODE didnt work. Eventually they let me return the phone, with postage bear by me because I missed the correct label (they will issued you 2 labels - to confuse you enough) and wont refund me the postage i paid.

Well, this is the price I must pay for my lesson, and here I am writing this so you wont have to pay for yours.

DONT LET THE PRICE FOOLS YOU. YOU MAY PAY SLIGHTLY HIGHER ELSE WHERE, BUT IT WILL SAVE YOU FROM LOTS OF ARGUMENT AND ENERGY.
EVENTUALLY YOU'LL FIND THE PRICE DOES NOT WORTH IT AT ALL
