Well you can do this with Bonds. The prices are sometimes even cheaper than specials happening in Big W. This was the case when I shopped.
Like with all online clothing stores, you need to know your size - which isn't difficult to figure out in this case because Bonds is already a household brand from before the click and shop era.
Not only did I get my underwear for roughly $3 less than retail. I didn't have to pay for shipping, and the package arrived in a nice little tough brown paperbag. My shopping arrived within 7 business days - now that's saying something for an Australian shopping site!
I went to the bonds site as part of the Click Frenzy for Father's Day sale. The site is easy to use and has a very interactive user interface. The user can check the different colours the garment comes in just by clicking on the colours.
I bought 5 underwear's which was a bargain with a 30% off offer and free shipping.
The best part of it was the delivery. The delivery was done in 2 days which was just fantastic.
I have really mixed feelings about my Bonds online experience.
I went to Bonds online looking for a particular style of socks in black as they suit my work footwear. The website didn't have exactly what I was after, but they had a few things that seemed close.
My issue with the website is that I purchased two styles of sock, both women's ankle cut socks. The socks that were described on the website as "Their cushioned soles provide padding for comfort and shock absorption so you can go hard and look good while working out" actually had no padding while the ones that made no mention of padded soles in the product description did in fact have padded soles. Annoying when I purchased extra packs of the ones that I thought were non-padded for work and ended up with far too many padded socks that I only like for wearing around the house.
Having said all of that..... the purchase process was really easy, shipping was free and prompt, the items were well packed and the packing bag they arrived in was really cute.... and they make great socks.
I will buy from the website again in future, but I will be very wary of their product descriptions and won't buy multiple packs unless I am sure they are what I am looking for.
You and I used to be the best of friends. There was nowhere I would buy my smalls from but you. I loved your designs, and LOVED your high waisted knickers, because they stopped me from getting awful lines with my high waisted jeans.
But lately... your products are getting shoddy.
The last few orders of pants have fallen apart within 9 months (when they used to last almost 2 years!).
And this order... don't get me started!
I bought three sets of cute spacedyed leggings. When they arrived, they were nasty and sheer, when they were supposed to be opaque! And then, after I returned them, it took two days shy of a month for you to return my money. I called you up at the service centre to ask what had happened... and you were so rude... you didn't know where my order had gotten to and you didn't care to explain the process.
I felt like we weren't friends anymore bonds.
I'm not sure yours will be the only name on my knickers from now on...
