I had been meaning to buy some collectors items from Global Gear for a long time, when I finally did it was a preorder for a new sword which would be coming out in the next two weeks.
I am afraid to say it ended up being close to three months before I finally received it. I contacted the store multiple times and it was nice to see that it was quick and easy to get a hold of them when calling up and seeking approximate dates (I never got a reply to my first email though). All the staff were polite and quick to keep me updated, which was great.
When Global Gear finally received stock I was immediately notified that my sword had been shipped and from there it look less than a week for arrival.
All in all, I would buy from them again... but I may call in and inquire about stock levels first.
