I was looking for wireless duplex printers around and I found that Harvey norman has the best deal for the printer that would be perfect for me..
so I chose brother HL-2270DW printer and found they had the best deal at that time, however the item was not ready anywhere in Sydney! :(
so I have to wait for a bit, was thinking if they are going to order it..it might take me like a week or two
but it was taking me waaay longer than that..moreover i kinda needed the printer urgently as my old printer is not working anymore during the waiting period (it was working just fine before I ordered the new one)
I kinda regretted my decision to bought it online, as it was a lot more convenient to get a raincheck from them..
but overall, I am satisfied with the service and everything else it's just time consuming to wait for items that aren't available yet..
Ordered Sandisk Cruzer 8G USB on special for $3.00 online. In store price $9.95.
Opted for the "Click and Collect" option and the order was ready to be picked up the next day.
Everything very easy and straight-forward. The only complaint would be there wasn't any signs or instructions of where to go for "Click and Collect" so I queued up at the check-out only to be told to go to the electronic department. Got the item and then had to queue at the check-out again.
Ordered some ITunes cards that were an advertised special, which worked out to a 25 per cent discount. The local store supposedly had no stock, so I simply ordered via the online store. It's usually a reasonably pain-free experience, though the site can be a bit slow when it has heavy traffic.
Later that same day (within a couple of hours) I received an email letting me know my order was ready to collect from the local store.
The only real complaint I had with the whole transaction was the time it took to get served in the store to collect them. Not unusual at my local store though.
As my transaction was made through the online store, my rating is for there, not the local store.
On the 22/02/2013 i ordered a 'Philips Nose Ear and Eyebrow Trimmer' and a '12 Pack of Philips Powerlife AAA Alkaline Batteries' from Harvey Norman online.
Today i received an email notification that my order was ready for pickup,when i arrived and managed to get hold off a staff member they looked a little confused as to what to do when i handed them the invoice,after 5-10 minutes out the back they couldn't find my order and just picked my order off the shelf in front of me lol,seems obvious my order wasn't actually set aside like it should've been,not very 'professional' hey Gerry??
Purchased 1x phone case + 1x printer on boxing day sales. Paid same day. Notified that printer was available for pickup 1 week later. However, one month on, I was still not notified whether the mobile phone case was available for pickup despite many calls to their customer support.
Customer service just says we will let you know when we have it.
An amazing price on flash drives popped up on the Harvey Norman website yesterday (I saw it on OzBargain) and I couldn't help but jump on it. I didn't want to pay for postage so decided to pickup after work as it was Thursday (late night).
The process was super easy to go through and I could even pay by PayPal, I just had to give them my licence at the store and it was all good to go. It was out the back in the bag ready to go. I'm taking one point of the service because I stood at the counter for a bit and nobody seemed to notice me straight away.
The emails about my order were prompt (my receipt and the notification that it is ready for pickup).
