Summit Club Membership Card
I decided to join the Kathmandu Summit Club seeing as Kathmandu have some nice items from time to time.

The club is usually $10 to join, however purchased it during a promotional period. But for $10 you're essentially purchasing a card for discounts.

The 20% off Kathmandu products that this card gives you essentially brings their gear down to a reasonable priceā€¦

What got me about this order was the shipping. From a previous Kathmandu experience I knew there shipping method for click and collect was pretty stupid and painfully long, however this was terrible.

1 month. That's how long it took Kathmandu to ship the $10 card to me in an envelope and it's for this reason that I'd say if you want something from Kathmandu to be prepared to wait or to just go in store.

Microfibre Towel - XL - Soft Blue Stripe
Jumping on Kathmandu's 3 for 1 sale I decided to grab some towels for general use and gym.

The prices for the sale were good, but the shipping is where Kathmandu fails.

To pickup at a store - free
To get it shipped to your house - average pricing

I decided to pick it up at a store since I work near one, however they actually ship the items to the store so it takes around 7 days to get all the way there, then you have to wait another day after they arrive to pick them up, then you get checked for ID and charged another 20c if you want a bag. You also get send AusPost tracking info to your email with no indication for what you've actually bought.

Pretty terrible way of doing things. Each package I saw at the store they had there for pickup was send individually. I don't see why they couldn't just ship it to your house for free, but whatever.

Also, their prices are expensive if you don't have a Summit Club card, which is $10 (sometimes free).
