good site poor service
I don't know where these other reviewers shopped, but it can't be the same oo.com.au that I did. I recently purchased 3 items from their site at the same time. After I paid, I received an email that they are sending the items separately by different couriers. I sent them an email to explain that I would not be home at all on the next couple of days, so could they please send after that. No reply. Sent another email next evening. No reply. Rang their customer service number - hung on for a while and eventually hung up. Sent another email. No reply. Took delivery of one item one morning, but couldn't leave home in case other item/s arrived. They didn't. Nowhere to leave items in apartment building, if I"m not there. Their so called tracking on line is a joke. It only tells you if an item has been 'dispatched', but not whether it's likely to arrive today, tomorrow, the next day. Some of the tracking emails you are sent contradict each other. I received a text this morning that one item has left the warehouse and will arrive 'today', but no indication of when, so I had to cancel a dr's appointment and have so far spend three hours sitting here waiting. And I've still got one more item to come. Their website, range, prices are great. Their delivery process and customer service are terrible. I would love to use this site more but will not.

Worst Customer Service
Purchased a Ladies Beach Cruiser Bicycle as a birthday gift, given the rubbish email re a tracking number that no matter how many times you click the link you get nowhere. Received said bike after a week, only to find when lifting it out of the box it had chips off the paintwork, dents in the aluminium tyre guards & where the packers had strapped the bike together in the box had actually buckled the back wheel by splitting the inner rim of tube. I emailed them requesting either a replacement or a new tyre - that was 7 days ago with no response whatsoever except the automated we will get back to you jargon & a phone number that actually auto hangs up on you & is in no way connected. Phoney phoney phoney, will never purchase again from this site!

Poor Toll shipping and customer service
Bought a food processor from oo.com after I made the payment I found that Toll does not deliver to Au post parcel lockers. I rang Tollfast to change the delivery address, two days later I found the driver delivered my order to the parcel locker so they didn't update the delivery address I told them. So I rang to communicate again, they promised to delivery by the end of the next day, however, it was never there. I tried to ring oo.com customer service line many times, never was able to speak to anyone. I am very disappointed with the shipping quality and the customer service level. Would never buy anything from that site again. Would not recommend for anyone else.

Sending products that are nearly out of date
Ordered a pack of 30 SIS GO Energy Bars. Prompt delivery, but when I opened the box, I saw that the expiry date was only 8 weeks away! Totally unacceptable to send customers product that is nearly expired. Have requested a replacement that has a reasonable used by date. Will see what response I get from oo.com.au
1. Energy Bars are meant to be had one a day, that is 30 days or just over 4 weeks, which means they would be consumed 4 weeks before the Expiry Date.
2. You haven't closed the matter with them, why not wait until the outcome before posting?

Furthermore, while you were super-quick to post a negative feedback, did you bother to come back and update your feedback after they had processed your claim?

Not Impressed
I purchased a new Kidcraft Sundae Kitchen from oo.com.au for my daughter. It was my first purchase from oo.com.au. I paid $199.95 for the kitchen and $26.21 for shipping. The product arrived relatively quickly but as we were building the kitchen we noticed quite a few imperfections in the wood. It became clear that the kitchen we received was repackaged. The previous owner probably assembled the kitchen, disassembled it and returned it before it was resent to us. The wood was chipped in quite a few places around the screws, there was even something that looked like white-out around one of the screws, probably to mimic the paint that was chipped off. There were a few numbers missing on pieces of wood requiring us to guess where they went when building it as well.

The kitchen still looked decent and was fully functional but it was quite misleading as the product I thought I was purchasing was advertised as new. We decided that we weren't going to return the product because it took us 5 hours to build and the effort of disassembling it and reassembling a new one was not worth our time. I called oo.com.au however to let them know that I was not impressed with the purchase and that I would not be using their service again. The customer service representative asked me to send her some photos of the imperfections which I did the same day. I called to follow up with her two days later as I hadn't heard back from her or anyone else from the company. She told me that I could return the product to which I reiterated that I would not because it was too time consuming and we just didn't have that time. I was then told that I could get 'up to $30 refund' for the kitchen due to the condition it was sent to us in. I agreed as it was better than nothing.

Bottom line, I'm pretty disappointed with the whole experience. I feel mislead that I was sent a damaged/repackaged item when the item was advertised as new (I wouldn't have purchased a repackaged item). Customer service wasn't great either and the 'up to $30' refund basically covers shipping (which I probably could have got for free anyway as I received an email right after the purchase notifying me that with my next purchase over $50, I would receive free shipping). I will not purchase any other products from oo.com.au as I have used online retailers that are far more reliable, trustworthy and helpful than oo.com.au.
Hi Sarah14567, so you're actually angry that they gave you a Refund? I am yet to receive $700 back from them and not happy at all so far, but the whole point of accepting $30 cashback would be that they give you this money to make up for the bad experience and you accept it as such.

Did you tell them that you are going to take the money and still post a negative experience? I just feel this is a breach of trust OO had in a customer, why else would they give you a refund?

Do you also leave negative feedback on ebay once you have complained to the seller and they have given you a refund or in their mind made up for your gripe?

When you take the money (despite the amount, remember, you agree to accept it, no one forces you), you should also respect the fact that by doing so, you are telling the seller, you agree with their way of saying sorry, and once you have accepted an apology, you don't go complaining to the world.

@kath has all the right in the world to post her feedback for what she had to go through, only to get her money back, not if she got to keep the product (which would have looked five years old in two weeks if kids get their hands on it - it is basically a toy), it wasn't new as advertised, as you say, and they gave you a refund of $30, which you happily took, what is the point of this complaint?

By the way, you still get your Free Delivery for purchases over $50, so effectively, you have $60 back...

NEVER use this company to by electronics
Paid $1531 for Samsung ATIV Tab 7 Tablet. The first one I received had a fault with the connection from the keyboard to the tablet, I returned this and it was assessed by the" tec team" as faulty. Another one was reposted out and another problem with the keyboard again! I was told I had left the two plugs in the tablet and thats why it wouldn"t work and they were sending it back to me. Really??? I had to retell the "tec team"that I had placed them back in as it stated to send it back in the original state. It was reassessed to deemed faulty.A third tablet was sent out and yes faulty again. I sent this back for a 3rd time and demanded a refund. After a week it was assessed by the "tec team" and stated it was fine. By this stage my patience was thin and I insisted it be reassessed, giving another description of the fault( even though this was put in writing with the return) After many phone calls, weeks passed and the returned of 3 different faulty tablets it was clear to me this was too many times to be coincidence. Where were these products being sourced from??? Be very careful buy electronics for this company. Over a month in time wasted.Worst online shopping experience ever! After alot of run around and stalling and with the mention I was handing it over to the financial ombudsman, a full refund was given. oo.com.au you also need to change delivery companies from Toll. Original Tablet left at front door(didnt even know it had been delivered, too hard to ring the door bell and hand it to me), it could have been a nice and expensive pickup for a dishonest neighbour! I also reported this incident to Toll and oo.

Beware of deceptive description, Do not Buy anything above $10
Take note of the timeline!

1. I bought the PC on 18/09/14.
2. Received on 25/09/14 to find DVI connection is very bad quality, no warranty seal, no multiple card-reader (a single card reader that reads SDHC, SDXC etc is an SD card reader, two different types of SD cards are not two different memory cards. To add to that, PC downloads several GB of data doing updates.
3. Notified OO staff on 25/09/14. Given RMA.
4. Returned on 26/014. So far, I have not even completely unpacked the PC. I detailed the issues, put photos and give specific detail on what the actual problem is. put one copy inside the Carton, one attached to the Courier Dispatch note as a 'parcel', so it doesn't get lost.
5. Didn't hear anything from oo.com.au until 08/10/14 only confirming receipt of PC.
6. Nothing until 13/10/14 where they tell me there is nothing wrong with the VGA connection. They ask for more details, and I told them that I sent the form, they haven't even bothered with it.
7. They finally admit that the DVI is of substandard quality, but use words as "not fantastic". The whole point of using a DVI port is to get a picture quality better than VGA, not worse.
8. I have had enough of this by this time and ask them for a refund on 16/10/14.
9. They avoid the question, I tell them clearly that I want a refund invoking their "No Questions Asked Full Refund Policy"
10. I get a response today 20/10/14 that since my PC is "used" they can't give me a refund.

Notwithstanding the fact that OO has had the PC all this time (except for the few hours of 25/09/14 where I couldn't use the PC because of it constantly updating and restarting, and then not being able to use it because the picture was of rubbish quality), how is it "Used"? It is not like a perfume where I have actually taken anything out of the CPU, or a CD/DVD where there is a chance that I may have copied it. The policy is clear, No Questions Asked Refund.

I am very disappointed with both the quality of their product, the response time and manner, and the whole experience. I have not wasted this much time on something so negative and will not recommend them to anyone.

Furthermore, if they give me a refund before this goes to Court, (which I can assure you I won't have any hesitation doing so, $700 doesn't just fall from the sky, I have to work very hard for every cent of it), I will delete this feedback, if not, I will go even further in shaming oo.com.au more publicly in any and every way, shape or form available to me.
