This store is great! Being a first time buyer here, I was a bit skeptical of the store as it doesn't have that "professional" feel. The site search is also a bit slow, which didn't help with the overall feel of the store. One good thing is that they advertise that all their stock is Australian, hence comes with Australian warranty which is a plus when you need it.
I ordered 2 filters from this place on the 5/2/13. A B+W 46mm Digital MRC F-Pro and a 58mm B+W XS-Pro. Having a look online, including other import stock stores, their price was definitely comparable with only a slight difference in price. As an added bonus they offer free shipping!
Unfortunately my items were not in stock and required back order, which they did indicate to me when i was ordering, including a rough timeframe of 2 weeks to get that in.
About 3 days later i receive an 2 email notifications saying that they had received the item. Then another email saying that their supplier provided them with the wrong filter size and that it will take a bit longer. It was nice of them to keep me informed. Even with the supplier issue, both filters were dispatched in 7 days from order (12/2/13) and received the next day on the 13/2/13.
The filters were well wrapped, so much that the boxes didn't even have a dint on the corners. Was very impressed with it. Compared to some other online purchases, I thought they really went over and beyond with the trying to keep the items in mint condition.
I was pleasantly surprised about the speed of delivery. Was particular impressed with the email notifications and they level of service provided! Definitely would recommend them.
Ordered a lens case branded with Olympus. Their website did tell me that the item was out of stock and required to be ordered in, with about a 2 weeks delay.
2 days later i receive another email saying that the item is discontinued. A bit disappointed with that. Guess its not really the stores fault, but they should do a retake of their items they purchase.
I would say they were apologetic about it hence why i gave them 4 stars for their service. And the money was returned the next day.
