I was going to buy water filters from Harvey Norman but they didn't have any in stock so I checked online and it's sold for $46.95 which is much more expensive than I remember buying.
So I searched for the filter online and I found Tru Water selling 2 pack for $69.95 with free shipping! Checkout was easy and I became worried my filters hadn't arrived so I Facebook messaged to ask what was going on.
They told me they just came back to work on the 12th and would ship my order immediately, they arrived 3 business days later.
I'm very happy with the price and customer service received. Would definitely return to buy more filters when needed.
I ordered from TruWater without reading reviews first. The price was half the retail here in NZ and had free shipping. After 2 weeks I tried to follow up but couldn't get hold of anyone - then read the negative reviews and panicked. Was about to go to the bank to try to reverse the charge but today the filters arrived - genuine LG and I am very pleased with the product. Would have been easier if phone had connected but maybe I used the old number (not sure, but do know they have new premises). Totally satisfied, will trade again. :-)
Ordered a berkley water filter on 2nd February. As had not arrived two weeks later emailed the company, was told there was a delay from supplier in US. Fair enough.
Two weeks later, still no filter. Emailed again. Told still delays from supplier but that my order would be next to be dispatched.
Told the same the following week.
Ten days ago, which was six weeks after ordering, I emailed again as STILL not arrived. Was assured had been shipped the previous day and should arrive shortly.
Phoned today as - guess what - still no water filter. Was told not dispatched yet but that woud be dispatched today. Asked for clarification as I had been told ten days ago my order had been dispatched. Woman on phone could not clarify.
Have now cancelled order and am buying from amazon.com. Its $10 cheaper even with shipping costs, and guaranteed to arrive next week.
Avoid this company. Truly the worst I have dealt with. Appalling service.
Placed an order in April 2014 for a whole of house filter & UV system. My credit card payment was taken immediately the order was placed. The order arrived and part was missing that took several phone calls and a month to get delivered.
One year on and an order was placed for a set of three replacement filters and a replacement UV Lamp & quartz glass sleeve. Again payment was taken immediately after the order was placed. The filters arrived after two months and two calls had to be made before the UV parts were shipped. The lamp arrived broken and the quartz sleeve was not shipped. The UV lamp was a third party brand and not the original as requested.
At least three calls were made to the front desk for an updated delivery and promises were made. Finally an angry call was made to another staff manager followed up with an email requesting the non-delivered part of the order be refunded. The email was ignored and yet another call has been made giving an ultimatum of refund or receiving a disputed transaction with the credit card issuing bank. More promises of a refund have been made.
This system was purchased to provide clean and safe water from rainwater storage as this is our only supply.
As a further note, after the broken UV lamp arrived I placed an order with Waterform Technologies and the lamp was delivered from Victoria to Western Australia in three working days. As my existing lamp had just failed it was installed which revealed that I now had a faulty ballast. Waterform then placed a warranty claim on my behalf with the manufacturer in Canada and a replacement ballast was shipped and arrived in five working days ex Canada! Talk about extreme service.
The lesson is that Tru Water can't deliver an order even with a payment applied in 90 days and Waterform Technologies can deliver in 3 days.
I would seriously recommend that any water filter buyers stay away from this business. They do not perform and have no hesitation in ignoring requests for help with orders.
