I had never shopped at Top Buy before, I was looking for a specific item and found they had the cheapest price, although the website was quite "cheap" looking , I guess it didn't matter. The order was processed but took several days before shipment and took some time to reach my address. I didn't receive shipment notification via email such as other similar sites do. When the product arrived the packaging was crushed in one corner. Not a total disaster but not the best first experience with a new retailer.

you get an email confirmation for your order, but its up to you to keep track of your item/order status - by registering and logging in to your account and tracking it yourself.
the item took 5 weeks to arrive (they do state an ETA of 10-30 days), so just slightly over the stated time
first impressions of opening the package, id have to say i questioned the authenticity of the shoes. ive bought a pair of Tigers before (from a bricks and mortar shop), and the feel and quality of the shoes were significantly different (ie. better) compared to the ones i had just opened. even the box didnt quite look/seem the same
i dont know how to check real vs fake and for the price that i had paid, im not going to make an issue of it.
would definitely say that id be hesitant to buy any similar items from TopBuy again, regardless of price

At first, communication was bad, they had a website issue I couldn't contact with them online. They had a promo going on to report any online bug issues and receive a $50 online voucher, which I claimed. I used that voucher for the above two products, they gave me 3 separate vouchers, two voucher codes didn't work, so I went back and forward with them about it. Dispute took too long and I was disappointed that when they replied it didn't get linked to my personal email so I had to go back to their website to check their reply. So I haven't bothered to try the voucher codes again, they kept saying it would work but it doesn't.
Items took too long to ship. I was going to buy the Samsung S3 from them but due to the lengthy response time I changed my mind.
Shipping was slow. Took over 2 weeks to received the two items.
Items were as described but not top notch. Deck sometimes works but sometimes doesn't, as it was off the voucher I won't complain.
I ordered a pair of earrings, 'RRP' was $49.95, but I would never buy them from a site like this. I received mine free, they are okay in quality for a free gift but I wouldn't pay $5 for them.
Shipping was not great, received in about 15 business days.
Their constant emails are dodgy and I would strongly recommend unsubscribing.
Warning: some deals they have really are too good to be true e.g. Havianas offered on time were not authentic, a lot of people on Ozbargain have been refunded.
Take the risk only if you're REALLY desperately in need of something but I won't.
Very disappointed! Ordered white vans at a cheap price , waited 6 weeks and heard nothing do rang them and they don't have enough stock.
They offered to replace them with all black vans for the same price , as my daughter already had black & white ones.
2 months later I received black & white ones which we already have and I am told by customer service that's what I ordered!
I demanded a refund , but now have to send shoes back first, so they have had my money for 4 months and send wrong stock and no apology or any call to try and fix the problem!
It was my first order and will be my last! And will not recommend them to anyone :(
I bought this "PRODUCT Details: Pack of 7 Stainless Steel Nail Clippers Manicure Pedicure Kit with Luxury Leather Box" Now its sooo overhyped. The issue is, yes you do receieve the items, but the quality is bad. the tools can bend easily maybe even break. the case has only a bit of leather on it. It is in no way cost more then 4 dollars. but it gets the job done
