I ordered perfume for my sister from Hot Cosmetics, its now almost a month ago and nothing they took payment a day after i ordered it and thats the last that i have heard, i have emailed them and tried to phone but nothing, i either want my money back or the perfume, but not much i can do if i cant contact them.
Purchased 2 perfumes on Hot Cosmetics website on the 21st December, and the money was taken out of my debit card straight away. At first I was thinking it would be efficient and that it wouldn't take long to be delivered, their website looks quite legit even though I'd never used them before.
It got to the 14th Jan 2014, and I was starting to get really suspicious by then as I didn't even receive a confirmation e-mail or tracking ID for the package.
Decided I'd e-mail 'Sven' but the e-mail came back undeliverable, so I e-mailed them through their website.. No reply today, so I rang the mobile number on the website.. Apparently it's disconnected.
Words can't describe how angry I am!! I only wish that I read all the horrible reviews before I went on their website. I can't believe people can seriously do this kind of stuff without consequences or feeling guilty, and you know what you would call that kind of company.. A pyramid scheme!! Money for products that never come.
I placed an order with this appalling company over a year ago. Despite numerous emails, enquiries and "fob-offs" my purchase (valued at over $100) has neither been received, nor the money refunded. Avoid this site at all costs!! I wish I had read these reviews before being taken for a ride. Downright stealing. No other word for it.
I bought a Nina Ricci perfume (a white apple shaped bottle with pink patterns on it) that was of limited edition. I saw this perfume while on an overseas trip and later wanted to buy it. I decided to buy it online and I decided to buy it through this store.
I ordered this online and within two days it was dispatched and sent to me. I received it in a normal Australian Post box with lots of cushioning around the perfume. They had also provided me with a free sample of a random perfume I have never heard of.
Overall I was happy with the experience and would purchase from Hot Cosmetics again if they were to supply perfumes that I wanted (hopefully, they will be able to provide the next Nina Ricci perfume on their website so that I can buy from them again!)
I had also communicated with this store in the past before regarding other perfumes. When I had emailed them my questions, they were very prompt to reply (usually wihtin 12 hours). They are an Australian based company so you can expect quick replies and decent delivery of your perfumes (without needing to worry about your parcel getting lost overseas).

I totaly 'DISAGREE' !!!!!! I placed an order and paid in full and still nothing. Phone calls never answered and emails never get replied. On 3rd August 2013 it would have been 3 months since I placed the order worth over AU $100. I don't know how this website is still up and running. I don't believe any of these other comments about 'Excellent' service are real, unless it's 'Sven' 'ITSELF' writing them. Personally I think this site is a scam & will soon be shutting down and the scammers will take our money with them. All we can do is warn others 'NOT TO BUY' from it. I'm going to post this 'WARNING' everywhere !!!!!
STAY AWAY This site is potentially fraudulent. I too have ordered and paid for perfume in June and have not received goods or heard anything. I have now lost $200
WARNING I think if this review is true then you are extremely lucky i too have ordered perfume lukily only $30 worth but am still waiting, and no answer to the calls or emails i am sending, SHUT THEM DOWN!!!
You guys have to realise that I had ordered from this site MORE THAN A YEAR AGO and that things may have changed . I have not ordered from this site since then since I have found better bargains on ebay (and prefer to shop on ebay anyway).
I ordered perfume from this site on 27th May 2013 and am still waiting, it is now Feb 2014. Contacted 'Sven' after 6 weeks and he was initially very apologetic. I have emailed numerous times since enquiring about my refund. Sven stopped replying in October. I am going to contact my bank and the ACCC. The website needs to be shut-down.
