Received free shipping as my order was over $50. I didnt receive an confirmation of my order, which was unusual, but my item was marked as shipped 2 days after my purchase.
My items arrived the day after. Very happy with the speed of delivery.
The shorts were good quality and in the range colors i'd been looking for for a while. The scarf was just a "may as well" item.
Love how you receive chocolate as part of your purchase. Not necessary, but an excellent bonus and chocolate is always welcome in my books!

Free delivery was included as my order was over $50. Payment needs to be made by card (no PayPal or Amex).
My item was marked as shipped 3 days later, by DHL, to be delivered the next day.
I find the delivery and service from Hallensteins to be consistently very good, with orders typically arriving within the week.
The quality of the items are also generally very good, and i'm happy with both the Chinos and Tshirt. The chocolates they always give with orders is always a welcome bonus!

Took around 20 days to received the order in new year season. Don't expect too much in a quality, better than Yd cloth. The size guide is a bit off. My waist is 86cm, normally wear size 28-30. According to the guide, i order size 32, and the result is too big. Size 30 is perfect fit for me. Currently in the process of dealing with return.
UDPATED: they do have refund service, no exchange. Will post the order back to the Au address, and received the refund later.
UDPATED: post the cloth back to their warehouse at Syd, i have to pay the postage, cost 6$. Too around 7-8 days to receive the refund. Everything run smoothly

I purchased one chino and a baseball jacket from hallenstein, at first I didn't realize that the price was in NZD but it's still affordable for me so I go thru and chose the stuff that I want, then just before the check out I realize that it is not in AUD and when they converted it to AUD it is a looot cheaper for me!
the shipping is pretty quick too, it reached my place in less than a week the item itself is really cool and fits me properly, the material of the chino is really nice, I'm pretty sure if you are after similar things in Australian stores it will cost you twice or thrice as much as what I've paid in Hallensteins (oh! and free shipping for orders more than $50)
and just in case it doesn't fit you properly you can always send it back to their warehouse in mascot (sydney) and get a money back.
PS. They also put chocolate and a thank you card in your package!

delivery arrived via DHL (signed for) in 3 days, but i wasnt home to receive the item. rearranging a delivery date was quick and easy (DHL left a card with details)
both merino wool items are super soft and of high quality
package arrived with an almond chocolate. a nice suprise.
exchange policy and refund policy are very reasonable and would definitely encourage me to buy from them again. in fact, after this experience, if i see any other items i like, i wouldnt hesitate to buy from them again.

My brother and husband love the products purchased from this store, it is genuine wool product and comfortable designs. Shop also allows return of product at an Australian address within 365 days of purchase.

So. Last year , when in NZ I bought a fleece lined sherpa hoodie - pretending it was for my husband (but really for me lol). Unfortunately, back in Australia, my husband LOVED it - looked good and was snuggly warm against the chilly wind. I tried to buy another one online straight away but it was out of stock. I kept looking.... (That's how good they are) A year later, slightly changed, they were back in stock and on SALE. Total YAY. Ordered and received 4 days later. First wow. Tried them on - LOVE them - second wow. But...inside the packet was also a little bar of chocolate saying thanks for ordering online. Wow. What a great touch. (I don't actually eat chocolate but it's the thought that counts. What a great great touch!) And a friendly card explaining how to refund/exchange if needed. This shop has really got it right.
