Have bought from the Dick Smith online store numerous times and have always been very happy with the service and products provided. They do tend to overpack sometimes - not so good for the environment, but it does make sure items arrive in good condition.
On this occasion it was batteries and a charger that I ordered. I received immediate notification of my order, and within a matter of hours was notified that my order had been shipped. It arrived within about 2 days of having placed my order.

I ordered Battlefield 3 on PS3 from Dick Smith Electronics , was happy with the price i paid for it and i've been even happier with the game itself.

On the 10/04/2013 i ordered 1x 'AMAYSIM $2 SIM Card Pack' from Dick Smith Electronics and on the 12/04/2013 i received notification that my order had been shipped,on the 17/04/2013 i received a notification from the courier company (StarTrack) that they attempted to deliver the item but i wasn't home so they left it at my local post office.

i bought a black caselogic nylon case for my small portable harddrive
ordered on the 16th and arrived on the 20th, via courier, requiring a signature. was sent confirmation emails of the purchase and dispatch, as well as a link to track my order. so definitely happy with the price, delivery time and security of the order
however, the website had a very limited product description (eg. no dimensions of the case, besides a generic "suitable for most portable hard drives") and the single picture did not display the product very clearly. it looked like the case only zipped open top side, but in actual fact, it zips from the top down to the right hand side
so in terms of expectations, the case wasnt exactly was i was after, and i feel that the website could have included better pictures and more detailed product information, but not a dealbreaker and i cant complain too much for the price

received order confirmation and order shipped emails
item arrived the next day, but was delivered to my local post office as i wasnt home to receive it - cant fault delivery times at all!
i didnt receive an invoice (for warranty purposes) so i called up their online sales team who advised me they would email me a copy and should arrive within 48 hours (hopefully it does!)
price was cheaper than competitors at the time of purchase. free delivery was a bonus. delivery time was great. service so far has also been of high standard. if they keep this up, i will definitely buy from them again
