iPhone 6s
Officeworks being great for everything in store in the past sounded like the best option for the store to purchase my iPhone 6s from. However it wasn't.
The phone wasn't available at Officeworks yet so I put through my order for a pre-order. During the order process I decided to also get an online account with them.
I got an on-screen confirmation to confirm my order was placed, but the only email I received was a welcome email due to me creating an account. Not only that but the order did not show up in the "My Orders" section of the account.
A day later and still no sign of any confirmation, however there was a charge on my credit card.
I called Officeworks only to be told that my order was reversed for an unknown reason and a refund was processed. I was also told that somebody would look into it and call me back. Hours later, nobody did.
So I tried the order again, same result, a new charge and no sign of my order.
I called again to be told by a customer service representative who was fairly rude that they have processed a refund for me and that it was my banks fault. My bank said everything went through fine and Officeworks is rejecting it.
So I placed the order again. Once again, no emails, however this time it appeared in the "My Orders" section of my account, showing "Rejected".
Checking once again with my bank, the payment is being successfully sent, however Officeworks are just sending it back almost straight after.
Calling Officeworks, I was told to either: Try a different card Or wait so that somebody would investigate this issue and get back to me in 5 days.
I went and purchased my phone elsewhere.
I wasn't very happy with this so I contacted their Facebook page, they grabbed my details and told me somebody would contact me. A week later and I still haven't heard a thing.
I'd shop in store with Officeworks, just not online.
What a delightful experience (not!!) it was to shop online with Officeworks. So I bought an ipod touch as a Xmas present for my husband. Immediately on purchase I received an email stating the purchase was under review. Next day I receive notification from paypal my purchase amount has been refunded. Do they want my busness or not? pathetic. I am authorised to use that account and credit card, and don't understand why I was rejected without the courtesy of an email or phone call. DO NOT PURCHASE ONLINE from officeworks, they do NOT deserve your business. There is no point my calling them to try to remedy, I simply don't trust them after this experience. I have made many purchases in store from officeworks, and this has really affected my view of the business and inclination to shop there.
I placed an urgent order for X500 A5 colour double sided flyer to print via the online website as I was advised by the staff member at the branch that it would be quicker online and cheaper.
I placed an order the same day and the website stated that it would be delivered within 2 - 3 business days.
A week later my order was no where to be found on the system, I was not able to use it for my show casing event that weekend.
No one could tell me where my order went or what the status was, I received phone call from the head office, however there was still no sign of my order 2 weeks later.
I made a complaint via email to request for a refund.
They refunded me the full amount.
I don't think I will use their online printing again. Vista Print is more quick and reliable.
Ordered a fax machine on Monday on 14 March for over night delivery. Its now Friday 18 March and still not delivered. Six phone calls and no reason for the delay except "item deemed undeliverable".
I am still no closer to finding out where it is as of lunch time Friday.I recommend you do not purchase on line from this company. Any attempt to contact the company goes through a call centre and we all know how that works.
I ordered two items from Officeworks online on the 20th December for in-store collection. A refill for my diary, for the year ahead and refills for my liquid paper correction tape dispenser.
I ordered them online as these items can be hit and miss to find in store, both being items that I have bought over the last few years. I thought ordering online would save me the hassle of unnecessary and fruitless trips to a store.
On the 30th I was in my local store picking some other items up and having heard nothing, I asked if my order was available. They looked it up and told me it was ready for collection. Someone went out the back to look for it and after some time it was concluded that the order wasn't actually ready and I would have to wait until I received an e-mail informing me that it was ready.
On the 2nd of January, getting nervous about the availability of the diary refills I dropped into the store again and looked around. Hilariously I was able to find both of the items from my order in stock, on the shelves of the store.
I went through the check out to purchase them and cancel my online order at the same time. Happily that wasn't an issue, however I was very unimpressed that it took almost 2 weeks (granted with the Christmas and New Year period in the middle) and two visits from me in person before I had my items and only then, because I went and got them off the shelves myself.
There are some great specials advertised on the website, and while my local store doesn't seem to carry some of the items listed , by ordering online I can (usually) have them sent there at no extra charge for collection.
Because I do not live in a capital city, their delivery charges are quite high so I simply don't select delivery, but this is not a problem, as I pass the store to go into town anyway.
While Officeworks advertised policy is to beat other advertised prices by 5 per cent, the one time I attempted to utilise this at my local store they reluctantly matched the price but did not beat it.
I'd been wanting a stylus for my mobile phone, so when a pack including stylus and screen protector came up on clearance for $1 I figured it was a good time to stock up and get a couple of spares.
In hindsight, I think I got what I paid for with regard to the stylus, but it does (most of the time) work.
My order confirmation provided a date for collection, but I didn't receive a call telling me it was available for collection until nearly a fortnight after that. If the item I'd ordered had been urgently required, I doubt I'd be shopping via their online ordering system again but I wasn't in any particular hurry for the item in this case, so it was not much of an issue.
