After several purchases from them, I found out however they might not always be the cheapest one, but take into account although they ship it from overseas, the shipping itself is always really quick!
Packaging is really good and they always put some extra information inside too.
I am pretty happy with them. Sometimes delivery is a bit slow, but it doesn't really depend on them, as they usually post the items within a couple of days. Prices are pretty good, considering it's free shipping from the UK! Some books cost less than the standard postage within Australia, and you get the book + free shipping + a free bookmark.
Customer service is good. They reply and try to help.
Once I was on the waiting list for a book that was supposed to come out soon. Publication was cancelled, and they gave me a 10% discount on my next purchase, although it was obviously not their fault.
Book depository offers free shipping and there are always great sales on their books. I ordered one book and it came within a week and in perfect condition. Always great shopping here!
I prefer to support Australian retailers where possible, but when I was comparing prices for a book, I found it for a much cheaper price from the Book Depository. Their website was easy to navigate, and the ordering process was easy. I live in a regional area and I received the book in about two weeks.
It is quite a long time ago since I ordered from the Book Depository, but I vaguely recall that the book may have been packed in cardboard without any plastic inside to protect the book. If I’m correct about this, the lack of plastic packaging could be a concern when receiving books when it is raining.
