Deceptive practice and disinterested support
In the last screen of the checkout process they stick a shipping fee that if revealed earlier wouldn't have made them seem competitive. When I complained they predictably said it was hidden in the small print somewhere obscure. Also I used this vendor as they indicated they were local and were delivering express (next day) This was untrue - the item was sourced from Hong Kong. Which was not a problem as the Chinese got it to Sydney overnight. Then the problems really started as the courier was Toll Priority whom took three days to get the item from the airport (2 kms) from my home to Silverwater (passing my house twice) . Even discounting the weekend - where the birthday passed present-less (I bought something else and explained)- it was 5 working days for Toll Priority to deliver 2 kms - and worse it took a dozen phonecalls (none answered in under half an hour) and the intervention of two managers - one in the Phillipines and the other in Sydney - personally calling warehouses and couriers to achieve that. Yes DWI are not Toll - but they use them and Toll are a sad joke - Priority to them seems to mean 'whenever'. All up - DWI are tricky and they use Australia's Most Useless couriers. So if you are in a hurry forget them and if you think the price they quote online is accurate it isn't.

Very slow despatch
All was good until it took 10 days and an email to despatch from Hong Kong. Emailed response was vague but I got the impression it had been overlooked somehow.
Once it was despatched it was moving pretty quickly.

Not Happy with the Accesories
I bought a Samsung S5 - Brand new from Digital world.The website said available but when I paid the payment I got a mail saying it is out of stock. After a few days, once shipped it came on time.
Also I bought an accessory(Phone Cover) with my purchase. I am not happy with the Cover as it does not fit into the phone nor it is reliable.It fits out with a gap for water and dust to seep in through into the back of the Phone.
I would suggest the company to test all products before selling it online.

After my camera purchase arrive with a Chinese manual and no information about the australia warranty I contacted them. They sad they would get back to me and I still haven't heard from them. Great product and great price and fast delivery... Just no follow up.

Nikon d7100 camera. Will choose Australia next time. could have got camera cheaper, no $18.00 handling fee or postage (JB HiFi). serves me right for thinking cheaper product O/S.
Camera was excellent, package excellent, time longer than I expected for delivery.

Great supplier - until there is a problem
I bought several things from DWI without problem.
Then I bought a Nokia 1020. It was supplied defective : a faulty camera & the phone switches on during charging or installing hand grip B& will not switch off. The local agent - Altech - lied about how long this was going to take to fix. I took the defective phone in to Altech personally and demonstrated the two faults - the camera fault and the fault that the phone turning on during charging or installing handgrip & not possible to turn off.
DWI took almost 2 months to "fix this" .
DWI returned the phone still faulty and lied that they had fixed it Now I have to send the defective phone back to Altech - is this going to take another 2 months? I bought this phone for use on my business travels . Because DWI supplied a defective phone & take so long to fix it I had to buy another mobile phone. This is very poor service. DWI seems fine unless something goes wrong - then you can forget your warranty
