Bought a discontinued PSU (Silverstone Strider 500W) from here as it was the cheapest place in Sydney for it. The order and payment was processed quickly and picked up easily. Overall I'm pretty impressed by the service. The price isn't the best but it's still pretty good.
as my regular IT shop didnt have the HDD in stock, i tried calling mwave to see if they had it. they said yes, and that i could order it online first, and come and pick it up in store 1 hour later
prices for the HDD were pretty similar around the place so i placed the order and had the intention to head straight there to pick it up.
luckily, i decided to do a few other chores first, as after 2 hours, i called up with my order number and asked if my item was available to be picked up.
i was told no, the item had been dispatched from their warehouse and there was a chance it might be ready to pick up on the day or after 24 hours - i was told to keep my eye out for an email
i was abit annoyed that i was told one thing by one staff member and then told i may have to wait until the next day. i had specifically wanted the HDD on the same day, thats why i placed the order so quickly.
luckily, after constantly checking my email, i received my "your order is ready" email, so a total wait of 4hours. i picked it up.
i would have been quite irritated if i had placed my order, headed straight there, expecting to only wait 1 hour, but instead having to wait 4. i would have been equally annoyed if i had to wait until the next day. but overall, im happy as i ended up receiving my item on the day, for a comparable price.
I bought a SteelSeries Siberia V2 Full-Size Gaming Headset Black. I chose to pick it up a the warehouse, which was easy to find as it was the free option and since Lidcombe was close to where I was. The time for pick up to be available was prompt, and the times that I could go to pick up was suitable to my timetable: Mon-Fri 9-6pm and Sat 9-1pm. The product was authentic and cheaper than any other site - around $70. Will definitely buy from here again.

Ordered a 2256GB Crucial M4 256GB SSD for my 3 year old Macbook Pro.
Chose direct debit option to avoid surcharges with credit cards. Transferred the money on Sunday night 12/05/13. Received an email confirmation that they have received the money on Tuesday 14/05/13 morning. Item dispatched on same day afternoon by StarTrack courier. Received the item next day afternoon 15/05/13 and that's great shipping considering the item was came from Syd to Melb.
The SSD memory was nicely packaged with squeezed in two big air pocket. No damage no nothing.
M Wave was one of the cheapest shop I could find via staticice.com.au. This SSD costed my $229.23 (Including shippig: $6.48 and Insurance: $3.75) I think this is pretty good price. I checked Crucial official site in U.S, they have the SSD slightly cheaper but after adding shipping it's becomes a bit more than M Wave.
Installation was tricky, mainly because I didn't have the correct screwdriver ended up damaging my Macbook aluminium back lid. I strong suggest you getting a good Philip #00 screwdriver when you want to upgrade Macbook yourself. Don't bother with those precision or jewellery drivers because they will just worn out the screws.
After the install my Macbook Pro now runs fast like lighting, instant startup :) Thanks M Wave for bring my MBP back to life :D
I've purchased 2 products from this store: A jabra speaker and a Samsung led/lcd monitor. The purchase process was easy, fast and provided clear instructions on the expected delivery. Received both parcels before the max. intended days of receipt and was well-packed in air-filled bags. Products were in mint condition. I should add, I normally have to pick up my parcels from the post office as my building 'supposedly' doesn't allow deliveries, but when I order from Mwave, the delivery guys were able to get the parcel delivered straight to my door. Saved me a couple of trips to the post office. Definitely a reliable source for purchasing online goods.
Having shopped quiet a bit of PC hardware, Mwave is always reliable and quick from big purchases to small individual parts.
Recently bought a new hard drive and pricing was reasonable and delivery prompt. The HD was also well protected which was important as you certainly don't want a hard drive that breaks on you.

needed an upgrade from a portable USB2 portable hard drive, as copying large amounts of content over USB2 is horribly slow and painful
my order was paid for and confirmed in the morning and ready for pickup by mid afternoon, so really quick.
didnt pick it up until a few days later, but cant complain about the speed of both the service from mwave and the new hard drive
