I have been hunting for a new notebook and settled on a Think Pad Edge by Lenovo. The price was amazingly affordable so I placed an order. I was so excited for this new purchase to arrive.
Next day, I received a mass distributed email concerning a pricing error and they cancelled my order. They did not honour the price that was charged and did not offer any kind of compensation or discount code to those affected. They left a contact email for further discussion. I emailed them expressing my disappointment and never received a reply.
This is my first time trying to purchase a Lenovo computer and I am highly disappointed with their customer service. They do not take customer feedback seriously and don't honour the prices online.
Lenovo tends to offer 15% off every other weekend. Great way to get a bargain on quality products. Shipping on my ThinkPad T430 took just over a week - I think they build to order. Priced online at web price $1099 including GST (Valued at $1350).
I got 15% off - but I was prepared to pay $1099 so I ordered some "extras" - better faster CPU, and more memory. All those extras also gor 15% off, so I ended up paying just under $1100 for over $1500 worth of computer.
