I was drawn to trying this store as they do have a great range and their prices are extremely competitive even with shipping rates added on. I've used them a couple times now and have found that whenever I've needed to speak to use their customer service number for an exchange or a refund or even a basic question, they are completely dismal. My last experience I got what sounded like teenager on the line who came across as peeved that I was wasting her time, couldn't answer pretty basic product questions and in the end did not follow up on anything that she promised she'd do after our phone call. Pity as it would otherwise be a great online store. Note that they also tend to ship items out separately rather than post the whole order order in one lot so that can get to be a bit frustrating at times too.
I placed an order with The Farm Store only to be advised they wanted more money for freight even though freight was included in the original cost. I was given the choice to cancel the order, I requested cancellation. Not only did The Farm Store charge my credit card they did not supply the goods 2 months plus. Many requests for reimbursement every two weeks went unanswered. As I had not received the goods I started credit card chargeback, after two months I did receive the item and spoke to Meagan to discuss payment she assured me they would not dispute the chargeback and let the reimbursement of my credit card go through, so in good faith I paid direct deposit, guess what I have now paid twice. Unbelievable - I would not trust this company as far as I can throw them. Never will I deal with them again.
