Great customer service, sizing a bit off but happy overall :-)
I bought a top and a bustier from Market HQ, it arrived 3 days after placing my order with free shipping, I was so happy with that. The items are awesome but the sizing was a bit off (too small). Their pricing was relatively cheap and their customer service is awesome - I had a lifetime 10% off code which they helped me to find after I lost it.
Market HQ stocks a great range of Australian street wear labels, along the lines of what you'd find at General Pants, as well as other brands such as House of Harlow and Stylestalker. Products are generally sold at the RRP, but as everything is affordable and there is a lot of variety, Market HQ is perfect for that quick fashion fix.
Market HQ offers free shipping for domestic orders over $50 (I bought one top and that qualified me for free shipping which was great) and as they use express post, my order arrived the very next day! I didn't experience any problems, so all good here.
I have always like them and this is the first time I purchase something from them, but it turn me down a bit. I purchased the most expensive shoes in my whole life, I've been hesitate for a very long time to get that shoes or not but I love it so much, so I ended up hit the purchase button and I received the confirmation email. The next day I got an email from them says that they ran out of stock, I was so upset and angry coz I've been keep my eye on that shoes for a few weeks and they're just there, they should remove it from the website if its already out of stock. The refund was pretty quick, I hope there's an option to choose "Maybe" for would I shop there again, coz I don't really hate it but just disappointed.
I ordered on Thursday night, received Monday which is basically 1 business day. I ordered two dresses and paid a bit (%8) for shipping.
It arrived via Startrack registered shipping. One of my dresses was brand new, the other seemed to have been worn before as I found a strand of hair in it...it's in good condition otherwise.
The site was a little disappointing as there are no measurements at all - you have to try find them on Google or just estimate from the photos. The maxi dress is a bit long on me but a belt will fix that.
I reckon I would shop here again if they have good sales.
I was going to buy a dress off here but didn't because I didn't know if it was too long. Couldn't find measurement details on it. Instead I bought a top and shorts which fit perfectly - still was quite a risk buying them.
Not sure how returns are but their service is pretty good (I asked about whether a product would come back in stock and received a reply soon after).
Shipping was free for me (order over $50) however I found it annoying that the products are all priced ending with a '9' so $19, $29,$39, $49...etc. and that makes it harder to get to the $50. The items arrived in 2 business days.
Overall, I love the site layout and photography of the models/clothing so it made my second experience not as daunting.
I ordered a pretty dress on Saturday night and it arrived soon after on Tuesday morning via Startrack Express Registered Post, shipping is $8 or free for orders over $50.
The dress is in perfect condition and they even wrapped it super neatly in tissue paper - I liked that personal touch.
I have always complained about their lack of measurements for every item on their site and have since gotten better at judging dress sizes/lengths to buy the best fitting clothes for myself. Despite that I'd still like more measurements so I will email them about this!
Overall Market HQ is great and I will continue purchasing from here because they stock a huge range of all my favourite brands.
Finally ordered the item I was eyeing. 2 days later I received an email that all of my items were shipped followed by a refund email that the item I wanted the most was out of stock and refunded. I emailed customer service regarding re-stock of this item. No response.
The next week I checked back onto the site to find the item in stock. I emailed customer service to ask if it really was in stock and if I can order. No response. A couple days after that I found the item in stock and on sale. I re-ordered yesterday, apparently my discount code didn't work :/ Let's see if they refund me.
Tip: store needs to remove out of stock items. Also customer service should respond within 48 hours. I've been waiting for 10 days and have not heard back.
