I have been buying my fruit and veg, and sundry organic goods from CERES for a little over a year. The quality is always fabulous.
My most recent order I chose one of their Small Mixed Fruit and Vegetable boxes. This is a mystery box of whatever is in season, which is a great way of keeping things inventive in the kitchen. In this box I received bananas, apples, pears, celery, carrots, onions, potatoes, spinach, beetroot, eggplant, zucchini, cucumber, sweet corn and capsicum.
You can also order extra fruit/veg (i.e.. if there is something you particularly need/want), and I choose Crimson seedless grapes, kale, dutch cream potatoes and tomatoes.
My other sundry items included the most fabulous Daylesford Organic Eggs, homemade ANZAC cookies (made in the Merri Kitchen at CERES), chocolate Buckinis and Sheep's Yoghurt.
Items are delivered on a Wednesday between noon and 7pm; mine was delivered around 4pm. The cold items were packed separately in an insulated box with an ice block to keep things cool.
