I have purchased from Pumpkin Patch online store a few times when they had free shipping. In this case free shipping was not offered so I opted to pick up in store. Was very easy to do. I purchased 8 items of kids clothing that were on sale. Our order was ready 4 days later. Very easy and all the clothes were packaged well. Will use this option again if free shipping is not offered.
I had ordered online very cute gifts for my new born niece. The goods were delivered in a nice gift wrap as per my special instructions and on exact delivery date. i was also notified when the goods were dispatched with a tracking number.
I have ordered from pumpkin patch dozens of times and usually find their delivery prompt and have never had stock issues.
However, I find the fact that they do not accept paypal incomprehensible. Instead, I have to enter my credit card details every time, so half the time I don't order what is in my shopping bag as I can't be bothered finding my card and entering the details. Their system also deducts an extra $1 from your account and does not refund it for two weeks. I keep my account to the minimum as I do a lot of online shopping so this can cause my entire transaction to decline. I have complained several times about this and encouraged the store to accept paypal but the staff are adamant that PayPal is not something they would consider.
I usually purchase Pumpkin Patch girls clothes as I think they have ones of the best ranges in Australia. There are at least a few hundred items to choose from - girls and boys clothes and accessories. They were having an online sale so I bought 2 dresses, a cardigan and a sun hat for my daughter. All were around 40% off. Delivery was also free with a code which they email members. I also think there is more stock online than in the stand alone stores. I would recommend you sign up for their emails so you are notified of sales and free delivery codes. Items were surprisingly dispatched the next day and I received the package 2 days later.
