I needed an all in one printer for my home but didn't want to spend too much. I had heard some bad reviews from friends about Dick Smith but found they offered the cheapest option. I order online and chose to collect it from my local store. After ordering I received a text message 45mins later that the item was ready for collection. I collected it the following day and it has been a pleasant experience and a store I will try again.

I received a confirmation email and my item was marked as shipped the same day. Strangely, the item took 5 days to arrive (well, 3 business days). From past experience, Dick Smith orders normally arrived within 1-2 days, though im not complaining. More of a statement.
The case was basic, but exactly what i needed. Happy to buy from Dick Smith again, pending good products at good prices, with the convenience of delivery to my door.

My order was confirmed as soon as the payment was made, with my invoice being sent the next day.
My order was marked as shipped 3 days later, to arrive 4 days after that. As i was not in a rush to receive the item, i felt that the delivery time was acceptable.
The sound quality of the dock itself was good for the price, but not as good as i expected. But with the large variety of pairing options, it is a versatile unit and would come in handy for having people over.
Depending on the product and price, i would consider purchasing from Dick Smith again

Chromecast
I decided it was time to get a Chromecast and Dick Smith had a great deal on one. I'm one of those people who want something as soon as they order it. So click and collect is a great option.
Dick Smith offer an easy to use click and collect option that not only lets me pay online or in-store but lets me pay online using PayPal as well as a credit card, which is very handy.
I was able to place my order with PayPal quickly and easily and their website auto-filled most of my details from my PayPal account.
I received an email notification telling me my order had been placed and a PayPal receipt. However it took a fair while to say my order was ready for pickup, but I did receive an SMS and email.
Pickup was easy, just having to show the SMS or email (I showed the SMS) and no ID was required for a purchase under $100.

Great price
I've been thinking of purchasing chromecast for few months now, however I have not had a chance to buy as I know the price could be low, but it has not gone down for a while.
As soon as i found the deal for it, I decided to purchase from dick smith and get it delivered to my address.
The price was great, the packaging is great too.
I will definitely buy from them again, especially if they have some special deal going on

Surprisingly Good Picet And Service
Bought a TV here. Typically JB would be my go to but I was surprised to find the best value product at DS instead. The staff were super helpful and friendly. I'll absolutely head back there when looking for products in future.
I gave shipping a lower score as organising in store shipping is almost twice the price of ordering online.
The biggest con from my experience, I saw DS were Selling $70 'gold plate' HDMI cables near the front desk. This is such an old scam taking advantage of less tech knowledgeable customers. They should be ashamed and for me this puts up my distrust hackles whenever I see a business act in these type of ways.
Overall: They are now a store I would be significantly more likely to consider for future purchases.
