Lynny would not shop at Mica Lighting again.
NO REFUND STORE
I bought this touch lamp 1 week ago it does not work by touch or switch, I want to send this lamp back and get a refund, Mica Lighting do not give refunds only replacement, the item has to be sent back (at my cost) within 7 days unopened, how would I know it did not work if I didn't open it, other people have had the same problem with refunds at this company, they are ok until you want a refund then be aware YOU WONT GET ONE. DON'T BUY FROM MICA LIGHTING.

I purchased this lamp last July, you informed me that it was too late to receive a refund, you would only replace item and I was to send lamp back at my expense. I purchased another lamp at Wayfair Australia, a very good company, I threw your lamp in the garbage bin.

MICA Lighting. Absolutely brilliant service.
I ordered 10 fluorescent round tubes to replace the ones which needed replacing in my apartment.
When I emailed Mica to see if they had the right size curcular tubes they got back to me within the hour.
Once I ordered I received the correct sized tubes and I immediately installed one and very happy that they fitted and worked as expected.

Horrible customer service by their National Sales manager!
Very Very poor! Will never use them again! I placed an order for deck lights on their web site which shows the lights were in stock. After payment they call back and say they only have 11 of the 15 lights in stock. The National Sales Manager acts like a reasonable salesman, but he was harsh and not willing to listen to the issue with our Order. Had a couple of arguments on the phone which didn't end too well.

If you are after lighting options there are plenty of other suppliers out there who offer the same deals with better customer service e.g. online lighting or call up the wholesalers who will provide you with a list of retailers who sell their products. Avoid as much as possible if you are after decent customer service experience.

Somebody is paying attention!!
I'm not sure if they are paying attention to these reviews now or not but I was treated like royalty :)

I ordered a Rita 4 light vanity light which arrived in good time (2 days) but with 1 of the 4 bulb shades broken.

I called mica lighting expecting the worst after reading the other reviews but to my surprise they bent over backwards to keep me happy.

4 days later I had the new shade delivered at their expense and all is good.

Bad Service and Refusal to refund money for unusable lights
I ordered 20 downlight kits. I could not fit them together and after numerous phone calls and emails and confirmation by an electrician they admitted they had sent the wrong frames. They suggested I return them and they would send the correct frames. The project was now well behind schedule and I could not wait that long. The second remedy suggested was for me to pay for the correct frames to be sent and they would give me a refund for the ones they sent by mistake. I refused as I had already paid for what I had ordered and asked for a full refund as I would need to buy them locally (at additional cost) I received similar treatment from the National Sales Manager as a previous reviewer and have been accused of causing the problem. Still no refund

Great service & prices.
The Metropolis 5 and 3 pendant lights I purchased form Mica Lighting were way cheaper than other lighting shops in Perth. Mica changed the standard specification for me as I wanted a different shade than the standard fitting. The service was great and delivery to Perth took about a week which is standard for most online purchases from eastern Oz. The lights were well packed and arrived in tact. They are now fitted and they look great with the desired lighting effect. Thanks Mica.

Disappointed
Bought pendant lights from Mica on 15/2/15, happy to receive them yesterday but my bad luck, one of the pendants were cracked.

Emailed them straight away for a replacement and got a reply today stating because i did not opt for transit insurance they will not cover the breakage, instead will have to pay for a replacement glass shade redelivery fee of $29.

Not happy about this at all, i spent $200+ not a large amount but also not a small amount either.

I will be replying to the email to ask for a refund and replacement again, hoping for a better solution.
