I purchased a ring via ebay, and when it arrived (I paid extra for overnight express) I immediately noticed I could see where it had been cut and stuck back together for the re-size. As I bought it for a gift I did not have time to send it back to be fixed, and the quote to have it re-done at a reputable jewellers was $49. The seller agreed I could return it to sender. Which I did. Then begins 5 weeks of them returning the package to me. Eventually my post office remove my address on the front so it can only be delivered back to the sender. Tracking shows it has been awaiting collection for a week at their Po box, but they refuse to collect it! I have emailed numerous times and been told they will collect it, they collect post every day blah blah, but they are being immature and trying to get out of a refund.
Thankfully I paid by Paypal who have been very helpful and will refund. (NEVER trust this place with any other payment method!) I have also sent a complaint to the ACCC.
As a company owner myself I will never understand how a business can stoop so low. Customer satisfaction is everything!
