I tried click & collect once. Personally I find it easier to physically shop at Coles rather than click & collect or delivery as I live close to one and don't buy a lot of groceries. The click & collect option sounds useful for families with young children so a trip to the supermarket won't take a long time.
Notice that out of the two biggies (Woolies & Coles) we find Coles to be chepaer. They made a big change with their $1/L Milk pricing. Once we start getting the milk from there we slowly find other items to be chepaer. But these two bigiies have a long way to go comparing Aldi on Price
Try the coles online shopping. Once you start using this service, it will be hard to do an in store big shop again.
I use coles online for my grocery staples. The delivery windows are reliable and all items are delivered to your door. Most delivery drivers will bring goods into your kitchen if you request them too.
Online options great for bulky items such as laundry powder, toilet rolls, water, softdrinks etc..
I alternate between coles and their competitor week to week depending on which one has the best specials.
Subcribe to their online news letter to get weekly updates on specials.
Even shopping online at coles you still get access to the in store specials and also some online exclusives as well.
The website is easy to naviagate, items are easy to search for. Once you have done one shop you can refer back to previous orders which is handy if you want to do a quick shop of frequently bought items.
I would definitely recommend using coles online for groceries, especially to those who have kids, work full time or have busy lives.
I have ordered from Coles Online several times this year due to having had a baby and it being difficult to get out to the shops. I continue to be disappointed with this service and have now chosen not to use them again. On this particular occasion I ordered a FVSalad ComboBox(Jumbo) $60rrp which they advertise online only to receive an "out of stock" email just hours before the expected delivery time. Considering this was over 80% of my order and all my Fruit & Veg for the week, I was extremely upset. The only positive I can say about this situation was that I was able to cancel the order and the Customer Care team is wonderful to deal with.
I have had a similar problem with their F&V boxes in the past when they simply forgot to deliver it. They offered me a credit but as again it was my full F&V order for the week I said that wasn't good enough so they delivered it later that night with an apology gift.
As I said, their Customer Care team is fantastic, but the service itself and the fact that they are always missing stock, along with prices being significantly higher than instore, plus delivery, it's just not worth it.
