Dstore is not an authorised reseller!!! Your items are not covered by any warranty!! Do not buy!!!
Ive purchased a Stuhrling watch for over $600 under the impression my item is covered under manufacturer warranty. Lo and behold, my watch has malfunctioned and started showing the wrong time. Dstore claim, because my watch has passed their return period (7 days.... what a joke) that i have to contact the manufacturer. But Stuhrling the manufacturer claims "dstore" is not an authorised reseller and will not help with any warranty claims. Absolute disgrace!!! Dstore you should be banned from selling watches online.

I have now reported this to the ACCC as this item is not of merchantable quality. NSW Fair Trading have agreed to chase up my complaint and re-assure me that Dstore is in serious breach of my Consumer guarantees and statutory rights and will find a solution within 30days. Otherwise I have to take them to the CTTT (Court for small claims).

FYI – dstore has chosen to ignore all my emails, hoping i would just go away.

I am glad that we have been able to sort this out for you with the help of our international warranty support. Dstore does not claim to be Authentic Resellers we also state that International Import Items, Products imported to Australia directly by dstore MAY NOT be covered in Australia by the warranties offered in the country of origin. This being the case many items have to be returned to the Country of origin to be eligible for warranty cover. We make every customer aware when an items is Imported from the USA and each customer has to accept that they are aware of where the item is coming from before they are able to continue with their transaction. dStore your customer service is appalling... NEVER AGAIN!

You asked me to return my watch to you, but now its been sitting at the post office (Awaiting Collection) for over 7 days. And i know this only because i posted the item back via Registered Post out of my own pocket.

And your telling me your apologetic? If this item wasn't registered post it would be sitting at the post office without a care in the world. please you guys are a disgrace... this is not customer service. You should be re-imbursing me for every additional cost.

Not only that, you seem to have 1 person that works in customer service as she has answered every single phone call of mine, and tells me shes going to go pick up my watch as soon as she can...

ARE YOU GUYS HAVING A LAUGH WITH ME ???

I guarrantee you every Online Product Review site in australia will know of this case by the time im done.

Worse Online Shopping Experience Ever
I purchased 3 Vera Bradley bags from DStore as a gift to a relative who lives overseas. However, I was informed by DStore that they sent the wrong item. I asked if they could offer a financial compensation, as the mistake was made by DStore staff and not by myself as a customer. The wrong item sent was significantly of less amount than the purchased item. DStore didn't even give the courtesy to give a store credit based on the differences, only refunding the shipping cost. I am not impressed with their attitude, as it was very clear that DStore broke the contract by sending me the wrong item. As someone who have purchased many items online, this was the worse online shopping experience EVER - worse than ebay. I am now in the process of consulting with Consumer Affair as I do not have confidence with DStore. AVOID AND PURCHASE YOUR ITEMS FROM A LEGIT ONLINE STORE.

dstore Is it a scam?
I ordered some t shirts which were more expensive than David Jones. Dstore cancelled the order and offered a refund via PayPal. They did not send the money to PayPal,so paypal will not send the money to me.Neither can I use the PayPal resolution centre because it is deemed to be an incomplete transaction. There is a bureaucratic loophole here which leaves the customer in a quagmire of shirkeb responsibilities by both dstore and PayPal.
Be warned, this is not an isolated case.

No good
Ordered headphones, they emailed a couple of weeks later saying there was a stuffup and have redordered.

Now I've been billed twice for same item.

Upon calling the 1800 number, automated reply says there is a problem and I can't be put through-this has happened each time I have tried.

Emails don't get answered or don't get answered for weeks.

I've given up in sorting it out with them and will ask bank for chargeback.

Initial earphones were DOA which I sent back. That's not their fault, but the absence of customer service is. I will never use them again.

My experience of d-store was terrible after mistakenly sending me a confirmation of an item they didn't have in stock, I was given the option of a refund or waiting for more stock to arrive, I opted to wait for my stock to arrive. The shoes were the wrong size as they were European and their conversion chart was wrong, when I asked for a return and refund (as they had already sold out of my actual size, I was told that they didn't provide refunds for CHANGE OF MIND!! I explained that their shoe size chart was wrong that under Australian law I was entitled to a refund but they have ceased to contact me and I have since read multiple bad reviews online, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!!

Appalling.
I have never been treated with less respect by any retailer - they simply do NOT care about you.I would not shop here again under any circumstances.Ever.

I ordered an expensive watch for my wife from them after speaking to someone who seemed pretty above board and assured me it would be with me in 10-12 days. 7 weeks later still waiting. I also ordered a pair of shoes at the same time and they arrived about 3 weeks later - however since then my watch has been stuck in Customs in Perth. For 4 weeks they have done nothing at all to release it - after it was there a week I called and emailed to ask for a resolution. They have not responded to a single of the twice a day calls I have placed since then (they have a message answering service so in my experience you never have the opportunity to speak to anyone from Dstore and they never call back) - I have emailed at least a dozen times and had a couple of totally non committal responses.

They simply do not care about their customers - If it was a hundred dollar item I would simply give up but this is a very expensive watch which I may never end up receiving....

Dreadful, do not shop here
I ordered 3 items of clothing all of which were in stock at the time of my order and received a comfirmation that that my order was recieved, that all the items were in stock and delivery would be in 2 - 3 weeks. After 3 weeks I sent a query about the delay and got back reply claiming that all 3 items were in stock when I began the order but all stock of all 3 items were sold in the few seconds it took to email the order in. Then the order was mis-placed somehow! I immediately requested a refund but after a week nothing has arrived so I have requested again
