I've made over a dozen orders and all of them were delivered in perfect condition and have good quality. I get exactly what I want in good price. Gearbest processed all my orders very fast - approx 2-3 days to shipment.
The exception was one of the orders with unavailable product that was sent in another shipment. I will be certainly shop in Gearbest in future.
Super super long delivery times, if it comes at all
Ordered a torch in to leave in the car in case i ever needed a brighter light at night
delivery was free. after 6 weeks, my item did not arrive and so i contacted them. I was told to wait another week in case there was a slight delay. One week later, my item still did not arrive, so i contacted them again.
they arranged to have the item sent out to me again. 6 weeks later, my item arrived, though not at my requested address.
The torch works as advertised, though with the poor service and extremely horrible delivery times, i'm severely inclined to not buy from Gearbest again and would definitely not recommend them to others.
I would rather pay a higher premium with another company to have a smoother and more reliable purchasing experience. Only if the item was only available from Gearbest or was at a significantly cheaper price, would i hesitantly consider purchasing from them again
I ordered some Google glasses off here, came in 9 business days which was quite impressive for Gearbest as they are usually so slow.
However they don't come with instructions and I had to watch a video on how to piece it all together. Also I don't think it came with enough velcros but I didn't pay much for it and it is functional so I am happy.
I'd only ever buy things less than $5 from Gearbest because things take a while to ship and you can't judge something's quality from the site.
Price can be good, but service and delivery might be hit and miss
Ordered a bluetooth fitness band
I received an order confirmation the same day of purchase. However, 2 weeks later, my order still had no status update at all, so i contacted GearBest
They replied to say that the item had sold out and only just arrived in stock. I then received an email to state that my item had been posted out the next day.
Personally, i think they forgot about my order. It took another 23 days for my order to arrive after that. So close to 6 weeks from ordering my item, chasing them up on my order to receiving the item.
Based on this experience, im in a mixed mind about buying from them again. I did receive my item, but the service wasnt the best.
But overall, i guess if the price and item is right for the item im interested in, i will consider another order.
This site has such cheap stuff, I love the cheap little things you can pick up for fun. I got some cleaning cloths and they arrived in 15 business days.
They're really cool and will be useful for taking travelling as they're compact. Would use this store again, stuff you buy will arrive...it just takes a while.
Regarding recent news of a woman dying from use of cheap electrical chargers, I have changed my mind about this store and many other cheap electronic stores online.
Beware of the things you buy as they may not be safe, I will not shop at these places again unless it's for non-electrical goods.
Ordered a short length lightning cable for my Apple devices
It took 11 days before my item was shipped out, and 2 weeks for delivery. So overall, basically a month for my item to arrive from date of purchase to having it in my hand.
Generally, a month is on the upper limits i how long i expect to wait for items, but it is not unacceptable.
AS for the cable itself, havent had a chance to test/use it yet. I hope its fine. Havent had issues with items Ive bought from GB before.
Overall, I'm happy to recommend GearBest, but would definitely say, dont order from them if you need an item quickly. But if you are in no rush and are happy to wait, they've got some great price for what they do sell

I received my order confirmation on the same day as i paid for my item.
The item was marked as shipped 5 days later, with the item arriving 3 and a half weeks later. So basically a total month from date of payment for my item to arrive.
As I'm used to purchasing things from overseas, I normally expect to wait a month for items to arrive (but they normally arrive quicker).
For the price paid to have it shipped to me, I'm happy with the service, but I would not recommend buying from here if you desire, expect or need quick delivery times.
However, if you are not in a rush and are happy to wait, I have no problems with recommending GearBest.
