JB had a pricing error on a Lady Gaga shirt. It was $2.99 instead of $32.99.
Needless to say they ran out of the shirt, but in a goodwill gesture sent a tote bag of Lady Gaga instead and cancelled the original purchase price as well. That's good customer service.
I like the layout of the store. It is deliberately a bit messy like the stores themselves so it blends in well with the store branding. The surprising thing is, therefore, how easy it is to find what you're looking for. I can't think of another online store in Australia which does it so well.
Ordered a DVD, 30 Rock Season 5 for $15.98. It retails for $30 usually and even via Amazon it was $16.80 + shipping, so this was an amazing price for an Australian retailer. Shipping cost $0.99, which is ridiculously cheap. Usually they've offered free shipping though, so it was interesting that they are now charging for it. Perhaps it was just because it was close to Christmas, who knows. I received an email two days later to say it had been shipped (I ordered it on a weekend) and it arrived the next day. So very impressed with the speed of shipping. Can't fault this site, they are reliable and have good deals.
I went online to find a CD (Paul Simon's So Beautiful or So What) for my mum- eBay was pricey and delivery would be long from overseas. No where else had it in stock at the time. Checked jbhifi.com.au- They had it in stock, it was cheap ($15.99 on sale!) and delivery was free! SOLD! Ordered Thursday Night, arrived on Tuesday :)
I Purchased a Seagate 1 Tb portable HDD (new model) for $68.20 delivered (factory scoop),this is the 300 model so it is a little thicker then 301 model but it's still quiet compact in comparison.
The order process is quiet straight forward so i can't complain about that, the shipping confirmation didn't come through as quick as other orders i've placed with JB hifi but once it did come through the order was delivered within a couple of days.
JB Hi Fi's website has an excellent range of products; I find it much easier to buy online than rummage through their shelves in store. Additionally, shipping is fast and free, with items well packaged. In this case, I had the product in only 3 business days. Highly recommended.
