I purchased a jacket, cap, bandana and bag from Kathmandu and had no issues whatsoever. The website was easy to navigate, shipping was reasonable and the products are light, durable and of great quality. The prices can be relatively expensive, but there are great bargains to be had when there's a Kathmandu sale!
A great lightweight tent.for 2 people. It's light enough to carry it by yourself. I have used it countless times, but still nothing is broken. You may sometimes get a bit hot inside, so you may leave the fly's door open. It's highly recommended.
Kathmandu have some really great discounts for people who become "Summit Club Members". If you're a student it's free to join! AWESOME! Well worth it, when you can get discounts of up to 40% off on specials.
I tend to go crazy around summer time. I bough a two person blow up chair for a camping trip. It was $30 delivered as a Summit member. Cheaper than ebay for the type of chair I got.
Shipping took 6 business days to arrive. I thought it would be better than that, but still not that bad.
Was planning for my backpacking trip so I bought a bag online. Along with purchasing the membership you actually get a significant discount. The items arrived in a week or so.
