Free shipping on second purchase made within the hour of the first
I was offered free shipping on a second purchase made within an hour of my first. Im not sure if this is a standard offer, but it was a good incentive to buy another item.
Purchased men's underwear, under $10, and got the advertised free shipping.
Received these within 10 business days (before my first item purchased) and well within the 21 days. Quality was good for the price paid and free shipping was a bonus.
I guess shipping times will vary according to each seller you purchase from.
Cheap price, long shipping - get what you pay for?
To view the website and its offers, you have to be a member or sign up (free), which can be a nuisance if you just want to see what they have on offer.
You can only view sales from one shop/sale at a time and have to check out before you can view another sale, otherwise you lose your whole cart. It is a little annoying, but I guess that's just how it is.
The products they range mostly seems to be fashion, beauty and accessories, and mostly brand name brands.
Discounts vary but they claim that you can save up to 80% on many items. Shipping varies between sales and items, and is sometimes free.
Just to test OzSale out, I ordered 2 pairs no name, generic glasses for under $10 each, with free shipping.
There's not much communication or updates in regards to your order (just an order number).
Items are shipped after the sale finishes (sometimes a few hours up to a few days)
Just a word of warning, make your order, but dont expect it to come very quickly (they do notify you that it will take up to 21 days). My glasses came within 2 weeks, which was fine for me, as I didnt expect too much or need them desperately.
The items weren't of the highest quality and looks better in the pictures than it does in real life, but that's the risk of online buying. And for the price I paid, I wasnt really expecting alot.
Will keep one, and probably relegate the other to some dark corner.
i have ordered 2 pairs of shoes and that was not my first or last order from Ozsale, actually some times it offers a good bargins. the bad thing is the shipping prices that apply for each single shop and that you can't continue shopping unless you clear or pay for your basket. also it takes too long to get your orders; as for this order it took more than 20 days to get my stuff
I have purchased from this site on the rare occasion when they offer free shipping (otherwise its $9 - no flat shipping rate) and the shipping always takes more than a month to get to me. I ordered some whiskey stones a month ago and I still have no sign of it. I talked to them about my shipping as it says my product is 'despatched' and had a tracking number but when I looked it up, it says it was invalid on the australianpost site. The price and products are always favourable but the shipping time is just atrocious.
I ordered a shoe rack from Ozsale in July and shipping takes more than 5 weeks (I live in melbourne metro area by the way). One thing I really do not like about this site is you can only order one thing at a time and if you want to order a second item, you have to pay two shipping fee.
