Usual Great Service
The service you get from Apple is second to none. I was constantly kept up to date with my purchase up to the point where the iPad arrived in reception desk at work. Delivery was made within 2 weeks of ordering and as per the ETA noted online.

New iPad
I find the Apple stores very pretentious. I've had a few odd experiences in them, so when I need my fix of Apple gear I usually buy online. The store is great. It's easy to navigate and the process to make a purchase is good.

I've never had any problem.

Delivery in 2 days to my work. If you're willing to wait, go online.

Excellent customer service
Every purchase I've made from Apple have been excellent. They have accurate tracking of all your items and allow you modify your items before they're shipped. I ordered a retina macbook pro a couple months ago and it arrived after a week. Usually for low-to medium demand items they are usually ready for immediate shipping.

Pre Ordered iPhone 5 received on release day without waiting in line!
Great site, easy to navigate around, pre-ordered my iPhone 5 with ease. Received it in the mail on its Aus release date. Apple sent me a text with delivery confirmation.

Very professional, fast and efficient service. Apple pricing is pretty standard across all retailers in Aus, so i dont mind paying the RRP

Great products, easy transaction.
I purchased an iPad case from Apple's website. I was pleased to find that delivery was free, as well as engraving your contact details on the case. This service is the main reason why you should buy directly from Apple, as when I researched the product at in store retailers, they charged the same value without this service. Delivery (from California) is a bit slow, but on schedule (7-10 business days).

Mac accesories
I bought a macbook air at the Apple store for my uni needs. A few weeks later, I decided to browse the online apple store to compliment my new mac. It was more convenient to online shop and at the time, they were offering student discount.

I bought Microsoft Office pack, Iwork pack, a screen cleaner, imouse and apple remote. It was free shipping and the products was received within a few days. Apple products generally come with a warranty, so that was an added bonus.

In terms of pricing, I think its a bit too expensive. But then again, Apple products generally are. I don't mind paying the price as I know what I'm getting - great and reliable products and services.

Mail in repairs - A1
My recently purchased iphone developed a problem, requiring repairs under warranty. Having seen my daughter having to wait several months for a replacement phone on hers not long ago at a local store, I REALLY didn't want to go through them with mine, so after a bit of hunting around, found that I could mail it direct to Apple, at no cost to me for postage.

They say that your phone (or any other Apple device) will be returned to you within 7 working days of them receiving it. The slowest part of the whole transaction was getting Aust Post to actually deliver it to them in the first place (this took them over a week.) As soon as Apple received it though I was notified, and had a replacement phone delivered to me less than a week later.

I would highly recommend this service to anyone who does not have access to an Apple store. The 'Authorised Agents' seem to be a bit hit and miss.
