I have become a Woolworths home delivery convert. I order from Woolies online most weeks and have our groceries (with the exception of fruit and veg which I buy elsewhere) delivered on Saturday mornings.
We almost always have the same delivery driver, who is just lovely and he always arrives within the specified window and usually at almost the exact time we expect him according to the "track my order" tab on the website.
We have had the odd item or two missing over time but a quick phone call to Woolies always resolves that without any problems.
My only complaint is that they use so many plastic bags when packing items and that there is no alternative to plastic.
I will continue to use Woolworths online and would recommend them to others.
It's the same story every time - I order a whole bunch of groceries for the week and it arrives the next day during the time frame. The driver is friendly and my order is all there safe and sound.
I love shopping with Woolies online because of the coupon codes you can find floating around to make your order even cheaper.
The quality of goods delivered this time was great. There's no doubt I'd get back online to buy my groceries!
I ordered some drinks after I found a code for a further 15% off drinks, I ordered a lot of coke and Red Bull all of which arrived intact and all present.
It also arrived 30 mins before the designated time so I'm glad I was home to collect (didn't receive email/phone warning).
Either way, the products were cheap and I'm happy with what I got. The driver was very friendly too.
I ordered a rather large number of boxes of biscuits from Woolworths along with some chocolate dessert sauce after spotting a deal that was just too good to pass up.
I wouldn't normally purchase Woolworths home brand items, however the sale only applied to Woolworths Gold products and the sale was so good, I couldn't say no.
Placing my order was simple, however I had to be careful to ensure that the online shopping cart charged the correct amount to my credit card. My shopping cart showed the correct amount, after I had applied a coupon code, however when I reached the payment confirmation page, the price had returned to normal, without the coupon code being applied. A second attempt fixed this, however not paying attention would have resulted in me being charged more than I had expected.
A little while before I was due to collect the order I received an email notifying me that 7 boxes of biscuits were out of stock and that I would receive a refund to my credit card in the following days. This refund reached my account 2 days after I received the email, without any follow up on my part.
I opted to click and collect the order so that I didn't need to pay for delivery and selected a collection time for the following day and when I arrived during the collection window, it was a short wait for my order to be brought up from the back room.
I ordered a bunch of snack food items from Woolworths online after seeing that they had a sale, as well as a discount voucher that could be used when purchasing online.
The products I purchased were Woolworths branded, which I usually avoid, but the lure of the bargain was too strong and I couldn't resist.
I placed the order on a Sunday morning, selecting click and collect for a time frame that afternoon. When I went to the store 15 minutes into that set window, the order was all prepared for collection. I had to wait a little while for someone to find the order, but it was still a much quicker process than selecting the items from the aisles myself.
Collecting the order was easy and everything was included and well packed. The only thing that really bothers me about ordering online from Woolworths is that there is no way around ending up with a plethora of plastic bags at the end of the process, something that I actively avoid if doing the shopping myself.
It is likely that I will order from Woolworths online again, but only when they have an offer that really tempts me, the copious amount of plastic really puts me off.
This is the first time I purchased from the new-ish Woolies online store. They had a Huggies nappies deal - 4 boxes for $100. Delivery was free and you are able to select a specified time frame for the delivery. I selected monday morning 8am to 11am and they came around 10:30am. Fast and free organised delivery. Great experience and will shop again in future.
