Gmarket is a great, cheap website where you can buy pretty much anything. The only downside is, it's mostly written in Korean. The English version still has Korean writing in most of it's pictures and it can be a little hard to navigate and place orders. Once you figure it out though, you get the hang of it.
I've ordered from Gmarket many times. Postage is pretty fast for small parcels, but takes a while for larger parcels. They charge you an “estimated” delivery fee and then reimburse you the difference in “G-Cash”. You cannot withdraw this money (you can, but it will cost you about $50), but once it adds up you can use it to pay for a purchase. The only downside to that is that you must have enough G-Cash to cover the whole purchase and postage, as you can't pay partially in a different method.
I had an issue once with an out of stock item - it took ages to sort the issue out as I was emailing the G-Market team, who in turn emailed the supplier, and it went back and forth for about 2 weeks. All i wanted was another colour or style, as long as it was the same size, but they had to translate every conversation so it was a bit of a time consuming process. In the end, I got a nice item and I was very happy with it.
You can also get coupons and other intensives for logging into their website regularly. It's lots of fun and pretty additive. Once you figure out the navigation it's a great website. Highly recommended!
