I ordered some refills for my Aus Pen markers along with some recycled sticky notes from the Aus Pen website as I needed ink for my red Aus Pen marker.
I placed my order on a Monday and received a confirmation email the following day telling me that all items in my order had been shipped. The order arrived to WA in good time and I was surprised to see that the red ink (the one thing that I had needed at the time of placing the order) was missing.
I emailed Aus Pen and received a response very promptly, telling me that they were out of stock of red ink and that they hoped to post it out to me the following week. I didn't receive any further contact about the ink and it appeared in my mail a few weeks later.
I am very happy with Aus Pen products and they posted the red ink at a later date at their own cost, but I don't feel that I should have had to chase up the missing item with them. As someone who shops online often, it is very unusual for an online store to neglect to inform you that an item is out of stock and will follow your parcel a few weeks later.
I will continue to buy Aus Pen products as I think they are great, but I really think their customer service could do with some polish.
I ordered a set of whiteboard markers with refill inks from Aus Pen as a gift after a colleague commented on my Aus Pen markers.
Their website is always a bit tricky to find as google directs you to the US site, but I was able to find it as I knew what I was looking for. Once I was there the website was easy enough to navigate.
The set arrived in good time and was very well packed, surviving the trip in perfect condition. I was pleasantly surprised with the set as it didn't look so flash on the website, but the case it arrived in was quite attractive and much better than what I had expected.
Unfortunately, 8 days after ordering I received an e-mail from Aus Pen advertising a 20% off sale. Just a case of bad timing really, but especially unlucky as I have never received such an e-mail before, having purchased from Aus Pen a few times previously.
None the less, I am happy with my Aus Pens and will continue to buy them.
