I ordered a CYGNETT IPHONE 5 BULLDOZER ORANGE CASE for $19.95 which included screen protector.
I would consider this price reasonably because otherwise I would have to purchase a iPhone 5 case elsewhere for about 25-30 bucks, and then another 15 bucks for screen protector.
Shipping was additional $1.95 from Sydney to Melbourne. It took a week to arrive. I ordered on 20th Nov and had been checking the order status every because it was sitting as Approved status. It didn't get shipped until 23rd Nov. Not sure if DealsDirect was busy because we just had ClickFrenzy on 20th Nov. But I was expecting DealsDirect to ship my at least item next day.
I also got tricked by DealsDirect when I saw the "Free Shipping banner when Sign Up" today. Only after I signed up, I didn't get free shipping and then I realise there is a condition that I must purchase $49 or over. Come on, don't say it's free shipping on the home page and ask people to sign up if there's catch like this....
Didn't get notification when my item was shipped neither.. But I have received the case now, it's not too bad. Happy overall. Just hope next time they will act faster.
I have purchased items from this company before, and without issue.
Last month I purchased a tumble dryer, which after 3 uses stopped functioning. I contacted the support centre for the dyer, and was advised it was indeed faulty and to contact deadsdirect for a warrenty refund or replacement.
I did this via email (via their website) and was asked if I wanted a replacement or refund.
I replied to this, and was sent an email stating they were sorry for my problem and wanted to know what the problem was (it was like it created a whole new ticket and my original message with everything explained in detail vanished into thin air.
I replied again explaining everything, to then eventually get a reply stating they would need to organise a courier to pick up the item. I replied to this and told them I work 2-4 days away from home every week and gave them dates I would be available for pick up.
eventually i get another reply stating they have booked the pick up, and saw it was for a day I would be away. Of course I emailed them advising them AGAIN of the dates I am available and told them that date was not one of them, I got reply saying they would change it. On the day they had originally booked the pickup I found the courier had indeed tried to collect the item and left a card. I contacted Dealsdirect advising of this along with a new selection of dates I was available. I got a reply from Michael (same person who messed up the first time) saying he was sorry, would book a new date and let me know once it is confirmed. Of course no email or confirmation was received, however another pickup was attempted on one of the days I was away AGAIN.
I contacted Michael again and again gave a new selection of availability dates.
eventually I get a call from Michael stating he had organised the pickup and that I can leave it outside. I was above frustration as once again he had booked the pick up for the next day, a date I was not home, I told him I was up north and not at home, to which he replied again with the fact I could leave it outside (i nearly pulled my hair out, as he was not getting the fact I was no where near my city let alone my house) on a side note he sounded indian, so the communication barrier was there for sure. I told him I would be available a couple of days later on a monday, to which he advised he would book, and FINALLY (nearly a month after my first contact) the pick up was done.
Of course I sent an email stating I was not happy and wanted a refund instead of a replacement, as I have no interest, nor the patience to deal with this company again.
I also went to contact their customer service manager via phone to make a complaint, to be directed to an obvious voip connection (which you hear when being transferred to an outsourced call centre) and indeed an american/indian sounding person answered the phone .. I hung up as knew it would get me nowhere.
I have purchased items from this company before, and without major issues.
Two months ago I purchased a hand-held vacuum cleaner which never arrived. "No biggie," I thought to myself, "just get in touch with Deals Direct and they'll look into it."
That was when I discovered that their website is actually designed in such a way that it's almost impossible to find out how to contact them in any meaningful way. The only method that's easy to see is Live Chat (or Live Bad Joke, it should be named).
Three attempts at this (fob-offs), two emails, and five weeks later after a grand total of *zero* information from Deals Direct, I finally get an actual human being on the phone but the asian accent is so thick that I should have had an interpreter handy.
I did receive satisfaction on that occasion but only after *twice* stating that I was writing an official letter of complaint and demanding to know the name of their Customer Service manager so I could address the letter appropriately.
Do yourself a favour - Don't Deal with Deals Direct.
NewPlaceLotsOfBuyin would not shop at Deals Direct again.
There website seeking help is terrible!!
I bought a clock from them, it came pretty quick but there is something wrong with it.
Today I've been trying to contact them online, you go on there live chat, nothing!! No ones there!! Then you send a email to them, no reply yet!! This is there returns policy
"It's easy to lodge a return request of a faulty or damaged item or submit an email ticket!
Simply enter your login details again (see below the Home Tab), and select Login.
Click on Returns Centre and follow the prompts OR
Click Submit a Ticket to email us!"
You know the problem with this is? It's REALLY hard to find the "Returns centre" link, its not on the above paragraph, Why wouldn't you have it there as a link and instead go look for it?
I will update to see what happens but whats the chances i have to call them?
I orderd an automatic swimming pool cleaner from Deals Direct on a Sunday evening, my cleaner was delivered on the following Wednesday morning... less than three days! Very easy to order from. Very easy to browse products. I love the specials too. Delivery fees are very reasonable.
i was looking for steamer as i detest ironing a lot and i heard that steamer is working as well as a normal ironing process
so i researched in internet and found a lot of product are nice and recommended but none of them is as cheap as the one here ( and it's only available in dealsdirect!)
so i bought sheffield garment steamer for only $49.95! i guess it's the cheapest (or at least according to my price research last time)
the item arrived in just 2-3 working days! and the mailman actually rang my bell, so i woke up and would be able to take it from the mailman( I don't really know if they always do this but only this time they did!)
when i unpacked the item, it's really awesome it comes with everything as promised and when i use it + they put a sticker on their perfectly packed item who packed the order (it's trivial, but it's kinda unique)
it's really good now I don't have to iron my clothes anymore and I have perfectly 'ironed' shirt without ironing it, I'm really satisfied with the product and dealsdirect's service
