I purchased these cards with the assumption that my order would be around $15 (with free shipping). I was disappointed with the final cost. Vistaprint advertised cheap prices, but each option required additional fees for paper type and delivery, etc. Delivery time was dependent on delivery type and I chose the cheapest option ($15.31) which took 14days. The quality of the overall product, but I think the advertising is misleading.
I've ordered from Vista Print on several occasions. I have always used my own artwork.
First of all, there are plenty of great deals available. If you sign up you the newsletter, they'll send you plenty of cheap offers every few days. The emails are annoying but it's good value.
I've ordered several t-shirts. The material is rough and not very comfortable to wear. I've had my own artwork printed, and the colours appear dull, even on white.
I had pens printed. The artwork looked fantastic and bright, but the pens themselves were poor quality.
Stamps printed, they were fine. Business cards were also nicely printed and packaged well.
I had one mug printed, however this was poorly packed and the handle cracked during shipping. I didn't bother trying to organise a replacement - needed it for a gift and I had no time. The image printed on the mug was done well.
Shipping, even with a faster option, usually took a minimum of 3 weeks. I found with some products, they'd outsource to other countries so my orders would travel around quite a bit.
I wouldn't recommend VistaPrint if you want anything of quality or quickly, but the prices are fantastic and good for things that don't need to be of the highest quality.
I purchased 250 business cards through Vistaprint. The costs are initially low but with add ons such as colour, double sided printing, textures and shipping costs, it soon becomes a costly purchase. There are often discounts or offers from Vistaprint and can easily be found online. However the designs on the site and quality of the products are very average. Different types of shipping can be arranged at a different price ( I ordered standard shipping and it arrived in roughly 10 days time). If you need something bulk bought at a low price I would recommend Vistaprint.
I received my order placed on the 1st of May today, the 9th of May so around 6-7 business days and from the Netherlands, I am very impressed.
I used a promotional coupon which meant my order was free, everything arrived swiftly and in a small box, safely packaged.
Prices are not very good for the quality. The tape measure feels flimsy, the USB is okay and my calculator screen did not display the numbers properly. However, it did have a nifty cover which opened when you clicked the button, quite cool!
Also, I am not a fan of the constant emails I receive in my inbox, if I wanted products I would visit myself, it feels almost like spam as it comes at least 4 times a week.
Glad I got to trial the site before purchasing, happy with shipping and that's about it. Don't think I'll be back, there must be better sites out there.
I ordered thirty of these cards to send to family members around the world. They turned out great. The quality is good and the ordering process is easy. You do have to pay %5 fee to upload photos that gets added to your bill at the end. There are very attractive options that cost extra so if you aren't careful you might blow the budget. The website tools themselves are awesome with an endless supply of templates to work with. Dragging, cropping, placing and enhancing the photos is made easy here but be aware of the slow delivery option - it may take three weeks or more.
The website is very easy to use but you can't be in a rush.
I needed some business cards to make an impression at a convention. The cards (when they arrived) were of good quality and very cheap (around half of what i could find in Melbourne) however even with priority shipping I was kept waiting for 2.5 weeks.
Webiste could be easier to work around, have made my sons baptism invites online , it end up "ok", delivery was fast too, it took 3 days to arrive order, however found a bit complicated to complete purchase
