I love using Coles Online, I use it for my monthly shop and find it so easy to re-order previous items and locate new items and specials. The payment and delivery process is easy and my orders always arrive within the delivery window I book. I never have problems with missing items or damage so I can highly recommend it as it saves so much time.
I started ordering with Coles home delivery service earlier this year. I live upstairs and carrying groceries has been difficult due to illness. Now I am delighted to have my groceries delivered to my door. I was initially concerned that Coles would deliver fresh chicken, dairy products etc that were close to their expiry date. So far I haven't had any problems with this. Some of the fruit has gone off quickly, but I have this problem with fruit that I've bought from all supermarkets in recent years.
I have a few minor complaints about ordering with Coles:
1. Some products that I assume would be readily available are not on the website.
2. After I have placed my order, I receive an email saying that a few products are not in stock. If I had known this at the time of ordering, I would have bought something else.
3. Estimated delivery times sometimes change and I have to wait longer than anticipated.
I do my regular grocery shop online with Coles and find them very reliable. I like that the specials can be shopped online via their catalogue and you can choose whether you want certain items substituted or not. On this occasion my order was delivered within the time reserved and I also received free food samples. I highly recommend Coles.
I like getting my shopping delivered but dislike the social interaction. That's why I was so excited to try out the click and collect method of shopping at Coles, a new click and collect location opened up nearby and I sprung onto it!
I ordered on Wednesday and went to pick it up on Thursday, I chose the time slow 3pm-11:59pm, I love how you have such a large time frame to pick your stuff up. I collected at 6pm, I love that there was no line, just an empty parking space.
The instructions were easy to follow, all you do is type in your pin (sent to you via SMS and email) and wait for the doors to open. I ordered 30pk of Coke and what's annoying is they put it at the top, the highest shelf and it was difficult to take out of the locker because it was so narrow and squishy. Eventually I did get everything, I got 5 minutes to collect the order before the doors locked.
Overall it was a great experience, I'd do it again because there are no Coles stores near me, though I wouldn't order Coke or heavy things as it can be a bit of a struggle to lug into your car.
I injured myself quite badly recently and couldn't walk to the store for awhile. That's when I discovered the wonders of Coles Online.
The organised lists of everything are fantastic. You can compare prices, and set the list to show the lowest total price or price per kilo.
The best thing was the lovely girl who delivered the goods. She was courteous and friendly, and I wanted to adopt her!
Unfortunately, some of the vegetables and fruit was a little lacking in quality. Coles has a policy of 100% satisfaction guaranteed, but I really don't think I would want to spend the time and effort to call them to ask for a replacement for $2 worth of bananas and a pack of faulty snowpeas. Also, the delivery charge is quite steep, especially given that every delivery saves coles shop space etc.
But overall, if you are in a bind, or short on time, and you need a delivery, Coles is great.
The site is also helpful for making shopping lists and purchasing decisions without the distraction of the real Coles environment.
Doing my monthly grocery shop with Coles Online is always easy, my past purchases are saved allowing me to add the items I need to my trolley quickly, delivery options have improved and deliver price is cheaper. Items are always delivered within chosen time slot and I am never disappointed with their service.
