There are 2 positive things about Ozsale, that is: 1) they have some fantastic bargains on branded goods, especially clothing. 2) from time to time they give you store credit, just because.
But there are quite a few negatives: 1) Shipping time is loooong! Usually 2-4 weeks, particularly for products that are shipped from overseas and OzSale acts as middle man. 2) Customer service is horrible! For this order, I purchased 2 pairs of shoes then realised their sizing guidelines was incorrect and I had ordered a size too small. I contacted them immediately to amend my order and it took 4 days for them to reply, by that time the sale was closed and they refused to amend the order. To make a long story short, we argued back and forth over 2 days and the only thing they could offer was for me to return the shoes for an exchange (shipping at MY cost!). In the end, the shoes were of great quality and they managed to change the size for me anyway! 3) The only way to contact them is through their online form. No phone numbers are provided.
Although the negatives seem to outweigh the positives, I just can't resist a good bargain so will keep shopping with them!
Bought a pair of Witchery trousers from Ozsale which had sold out of my size in store and at a lower price too!
One word of advice, if you see something you like it's best to purchase it as the good items sell out fast. I hesitated on a pair of $15 Converse boots for my son and left it for a morning to have a think only to find they had sold out of the size I wanted by the afternoon.
They state that shipping takes up to 21 days from when their online sale ends and it usually does.
I have purchased from Ozsale over 10 times now and I still find their prices hard to beat! Stock from popular brands do run out fast so good to access sale as soon as they open. I purchased a Pumpkin Patch brand long sleeve top for my daughter for only $6 and with free shipping too. Ozsale don't usually offer free shipping but they always do for Pumpkin Patch sales. delivered in 17 days, so quite quick and in time for winter.
I purchased Nicole Navy White Sports shirt and Anna Navy White tennis skirt with a special of free shipping. Last time I purchased from here, the shipping took more than two months. This time, the shipping took around 2 weeks. The clothes fitted nicely. I was very pleased with this experience.
I purchased 2 items from a sale: a cocktail dress and a cardigan for my partner. The order was dispatched within the period (2 weeks) mentioned when I made the order. But when we received the package she was disappointed to see that they had sent her the wrong dress! I immediately requested a return and they took the return. As OzSale had made a mistake, I didn't have to pay the return package. Within 10 days, I received a confirmation email that they had received the dress and would be refunding my account. They did refund me within 48 hours, without the need to chase them. However it would have been better if the order had been filled correctly.
I ordered some L'Occitane Olive Tree products that were on sale. I got it for a great price, some of the items were more then 50% off. The postage takes a little longer because you have to wait for the sale to finish but they do let you know this when you order.
My order took quite a long time (3 weeks) to arrive after ordering. It was a Man of Steel mug, it didn't arrive very well packaged in just bubble wrap in a bag and could have easily been damaged - luckily it wasn't.
It was also free using a coupon code, $10 would be unreasonable for it as it is small but I am quite happy with it. Ozsale usually has some nice sales and good discounts/codes for free shipping.
