Bought a pair of Witchery trousers from Ozsale which had sold out of my size in store and at a lower price too!
One word of advice, if you see something you like it's best to purchase it as the good items sell out fast. I hesitated on a pair of $15 Converse boots for my son and left it for a morning to have a think only to find they had sold out of the size I wanted by the afternoon.
They state that shipping takes up to 21 days from when their online sale ends and it usually does.
I have made quite a number of purchases from ozsale. Everyday, there are new sales from different stores. The products range from clothes to jewellery, shoes, children's toys and books. This particular order was blouses and a trouser. The shipping took 3 weeks and some other orders shipping took a month. The pricing was very fair. The quality of products was good. No warranty was provided for the items purchased.
Bought a jacket from le coq sportif. Happy with the product, however shipping took a long time. The item arrived a month after I ordered it. They did mention that it will take up to 21 days after the sale ends, but this is is still annoying. I also had to pay shipping fee, which is undesirable considering other websites offer free express delivery.
There is no number to contact them which makes it hard to communicate. Pricing is really affordable though (usually up to 50% off well known brands).
Would I shop here again? Probably. I'm a sucker for sales.
I ordered some Typo stationery on 26/03/15 and they arrived 21/04/15 which is 16 business days, looking back on my Ozsale reviews I did note the long shipping times.
Luckily I didn't need the things urgently. Their prices are reasonable, would love for them to sweeten their deals with coupon codes or something but so far things have been mostly good purchases.
Everything arrived neatly and safely packaged. I would visit again if something were to catch my eye. Just leave yourself a month leeway for receiving your goods because Ozsale are quite slow in that department.
i have ordered 2 pairs of shoes and that was not my first or last order from Ozsale, actually some times it offers a good bargins. the bad thing is the shipping prices that apply for each single shop and that you can't continue shopping unless you clear or pay for your basket. also it takes too long to get your orders; as for this order it took more than 20 days to get my stuff
OzSale runs "flash sales" where they sell curated selections of items for a limited time.
The website is mostly good, but there's a LOT of stuff on it. For that reason it can be hard to search and find something that interests you without wading through tons and tons of other products first. When I want to shop on OzSale, I have to dedicate at least 30 minutes to it, to go through all the stuff!
This also means that sometimes products aren't as well-described or organised as they could be. This generally isn't an issue, but it's something to be aware of.
Products sold are generally excess stock or old season goods. Sometimes they are slightly damaged (not noticeable at all, really). I guess you get what you pay for here – if I pay $3 for a shirt, and there's a few threads loose, that's really not bad. But don't expect immaculate goods for a fraction of a price.
Shipping is expensive. Each time you order you get a code for discounted shipping on your next order... but this code has never actually worked for me.
Items are imported from overseas when each sale ends, so delivery can be lengthy. Delivery times are quoted on each sale though, and there's a clear tracking system under my account, so I'm well aware of when it's due to arrive. Items from each sale are shipped separately which I like – it means I can get some items sooner – but can be frustrating if I purchase from lots of sales.
None of my deliveries have had paperwork included which is a bit annoying, especially considering they take so long. I might get a single red shirt in a package and have no idea where it came from... but then again, I shop online too much.
Communication is mediocre. I often wait 48+ hours for a response, and even then sometimes they don't even correctly read my query.
Returns are pretty good. Reply paid address is provided and money returned quite quickly. I recently returned a faulty item and only received a credit (I'm entitled to a refund), but I've sent them a message so I'm hoping this will be changed.
