There are 2 positive things about Ozsale, that is: 1) they have some fantastic bargains on branded goods, especially clothing. 2) from time to time they give you store credit, just because.
But there are quite a few negatives: 1) Shipping time is loooong! Usually 2-4 weeks, particularly for products that are shipped from overseas and OzSale acts as middle man. 2) Customer service is horrible! For this order, I purchased 2 pairs of shoes then realised their sizing guidelines was incorrect and I had ordered a size too small. I contacted them immediately to amend my order and it took 4 days for them to reply, by that time the sale was closed and they refused to amend the order. To make a long story short, we argued back and forth over 2 days and the only thing they could offer was for me to return the shoes for an exchange (shipping at MY cost!). In the end, the shoes were of great quality and they managed to change the size for me anyway! 3) The only way to contact them is through their online form. No phone numbers are provided.
Although the negatives seem to outweigh the positives, I just can't resist a good bargain so will keep shopping with them!
I have purchased from Ozsale many times and usually the items are in good condition. If not, an exchange or refund is arranged. Purchased some clothes from the Ozsale Witchery sale. Great prices but took 4 weeks to arrive even thought they say 21 days. I don't mind as long as everything is perfect. But this time the clothes were not packaged very well. just shoved into a bag in a bunch and not folded. clothes were all creased and 1 necklace had no tag. No faults on the items though. will not be returning the tag-less necklace though as in perfect condition and exchanges/refunds take ages normally. ok experience. will still shop there again as prices are good.
On the 17/01/2013 i ordered 3 pairs of Puma high cut socks from Ozsale and within a few days they were sent (very quick by Ozsale standards),they arrived the monday just gone (04/01/2013) so not to bad at all.
I ordered some Chanel makeup from an Ozsale sale middle of December last year. Although I know Christmas and New Year were in the middle the products took one month and 5 days to arrive.
Products were as described and packaged well. Grat site if you want bargains but don't need the goods in a hurry.
Actual Products is Different in Quality & Design Of The Actual Brand
The purchase was done by my wife. Back in Malaysia, we love to buy the products of the brand Zara from their boutiques at Kuala Lumpur. We are definitely sure the quality & design of the brand & their products. There are no Zara boutiques in WA. We purchased 4 pieces of lady dress. The delivery took 2 weeks. Upon received, we're disappointed as the products does not feel like the ones we've purchased before. It is unfair for me to say that they are not authentic but the quality is different, below our expectation.
Ordered sunnies and undies, both were shipped separately, the sunnies were wrapped with a fragile sticker on top which was good because i didn't want them to be smashed.
Cheap and the delivery wasn't bad either.
It took quite a while to come, but within the 21 days specified but i wasn't fussed.
I have made few purchases through ozsale before. So far, I have been pretty happy with the quality of product and price offered. The items ordered arrived fairly fast and no hassle on the online transaction process. Will definitely buy from again soon.
