I was in Japan at the time I placed this order, two days' before my friend's 21st Birthday. Stuck in a bind, I placed my trust in Dan Murphy's to get great tasting drinks to my mate in time for her birthday. And they didn't let me down! I bought seven bottles of cider and a bottle of wine to be sent over to her house and they all arrived in one delivery, safe and sound.
Shipping, depending on your delivery address of course, can be incredibly speedy. I've ordered here several times for the Inner West NSW area and I've had my orders delivered as soon as a few business days after placing my order. They also have an update SMS feature where they keep you regularly notified regarding the status of your delivery - which I think is quite helpful.
Their user review feature on the site also helps you get a better idea on how your chosen beverage will taste and whether you'll like it which I think is very helpful for people trying things for the first time.
On the 06/01/2013 i ordered a 'Matilda Bay Mixed Case' from Dan Murphy's and on the 09/01/2013 i received notification that my order had been dispatched, from memory the case arrived 8 days later.
On April 11 I used Dan Murphys' "Click and Collect" system. I ordered some Somerton Chardonnay online and, in less than two hours, received emails confirming my order and advising that my order was ready for collection at my nominated store----and I received an sms to the same effect. Later in the day I picked up my order avoiding the queues waiting to be served. Great price too! An excellent system.
On the 05/03/2013 i came across Dan Murphys offering Bundaberg Five Cola & Lime Can 6 packs for $2.90 (few months past the best before) so i ordered 6x 6 packs through their click & collect system, all up it cost me $17.40 for 36 cans! couldn't even buy 1 6 pack for that normally haha.
Once i placed my order they sent me a txt and email a few hours later saying my order was ready for collection so the next day i stopped in at the store and collected it.
I ordered and paid for 6 x Somerton Chardonnay online on Feb 4 using Dan Murphy's Click and Collect service. Within two hours I was notified by email and by sms that my order was ready to be collected from my nominated branch. And there it was waiting for me! What a great system!
On the 06/01/2013 i ordered a case of 24 Matilda Bay variety pack beer which included Fat Yak Pale Ale,Beez Neez Honey Wheat Beer,Big Helga Munich Style Lager and Redback Original Wheat Beer.
