When it's Winter and you can't find any stores that sell swimmers at reasonable prices, Target to the rescue!
I bought two sizes of boys swimming trunks for my son at $9.60 each in order for him to try on for best fit, and also a pack of TMNT socks that were sold out in store.
However, it took two weeks for my order to be ready to be picked up in store... too long in my opinion. They can be a hit and miss with order readiness.
I returned one pair of trunks in store that didn't fit him, not questions asked, too easy.
Free delivery for orders over $75 with some competitive pricing
Bought a few Xbox games to play. Pricing was comparable to other retailers.
As my order was over $75, I received free delivery
My order was confirmed the same day and marked as shipped the next day with a tracking number. My package arrived 5 days later.
Nothing to complain about, though perhaps i would have expected slightly faster delivery times. Maybe next time, instead of having the convenience of delivery, i may arrange pick up from a local store. Thought im not sure if it will be any quicker using this method.
Buy new gaming titles online at good prices, due to low stock in store
Ordered an Xbox One Game and added some socks to make the total over $75 (for free delivery). It is surprising that Target can have cheaper prices for some new release games (stores almost always have super low quantities), so i was quick to make this purchase.
I received an email confirming my order on the same day, and 2 days later, an email was sent stating that my item had been shipped. a link to track my package was included in the email.
3 days later, my game and socks arrived. Overall, around 7 days from order placement to receiving my item, which i thought was a little slow as i could go in store and have my items in hand quicker. though for the convenience of delivery and guarantee of having the item (instead of trying to line up and hope they have enough stock) i was happy to wait.
i will continue to keep my eye on on target for any further titles i may be interested in purchasing
I went to my local Target store to buy the Lego Duplo Large Brick Box which was on sale, but they had no stock. Fortunately, the online store had it available. However, it's the ONLY Duplo available online. The online store has very few items. Hopefully they expand their online store, because it's a convenient way to buy items not available at your local Target.
I chose the Click and Collect option which took 9 days to arrive, because they were doing a stock-take at the warehouse. The website warned me about the delay and they also sent me an email reminding me that the delay was unusual.
The in-store pickup was quick and easy. Although it would be nice if they just gave you the item, instead of the shipping box which was four times the size of the Legos box and awkward to carry in the mall with a toddler in tow.
I ordered underwear and two pairs of jeans and chose to pick them up in store rather than pay for delivery. The order was ready to pick up a week and a half after my payment.
Unfortunately the items didn't fit but I returned them on the spot in store with my invoice.
Bought an iPad from them when they have 10% OFF for one-day only sell... Don't need to wake up early to compete with others, or maybe no stocks in the store you go.
I bought it straight after 12:00 am with free delivery to my house.
P.S, Both Target & Big W RRP for iPad are cheaper than Apple Store, about $25-$30 cheaper..
I like to research a whole bunch of products before I buy them online. I wanted a new hair curler and a few blogs suggested that the thin ones were better than the thick wands.
So I looked for one and Target's was competitively priced so I ordered it.
I organised it to arrive in store so that postage was free, and then gleefully took it home. Unfortunately it was pretty average and I don't use it much.
Some stores seem to have super vigilant buyers who find amazing products at bargain prices. But I don't think target is one of those stores: I think the cheaper prices reflect cheaper quality.
If you have researched the item you want, for instance brand-name items, and it is cheaper at Target, I can recommend their quick and transparent service. But for cheaper products, I think you can buy a better quality bargain elsewhere.
I would only shop at target online again if I were buying things I was very familiar with.
