Great communication/status updates. Quick enough delivery times
Ordered a pair of headphones as my current ones felt like they we beginning to wear out. Shipping was an extra $5 on top.
I received an email of order confirmation the same day, a notification that my order had been allocated to a store for processing the next day. My item was then marked as shipped the following day. My headphones arrived 2 days later. I was happy that my item took less than a week for my item to arrive and that i was kept notified of the process the whole time.
As my current headphones have not broken down on me yet, i'll be keeping the current headphones aside until they do, so i'm unable to comment on the quality of them.
Overall, i was happy with my buying experience this time around, and would buy from the Good Guys again
Good product. Service and communication, not so good.
Ordered a Motorola Smartphone for a family member. i paid extra for delivery.
My item was marked for processing at a nearby store the same day as my order, which i thought was nice and quick. 4 days later, i still hadnt received my item or heard any further reply, so i called them.
As they still hadnt shipped my item yet, i told them i'd pick it up myself as i would be in the area that weekend. On the weekend, i called them to confirm that my order was available to pick up, only to be told that they had posted the item out to me.
Somewhat frustrating and inconvenient.
My item arrived the following monday - a total of 6 business days. Delivery notification is sent via email with tracking, which is good.
So what can i say? The pricing was standard. I paid extra for the convenience of having the item shipped to me, but I could have picked up the item myself quicker from the allocated store. I had to contact the store to follow up on my item, then after arranging to pick it up, my item was shipped out to me. Feels a bit like a breakdown in communication somewhere along the line with a bit of time and effort wasting involved.
The phone itself is good. No problems with that. Its just the service that leaves a little to be desired.
Would i buy from the Good Guys again? In store, yes. Online...I'm not so sure.
I really wanted a facial steamer , I found a good quality but great price product and purchased via The Good Guys. Order process was simple, item was delivered via courier in 24hrs.
I was looking for a Dyson vacuum and The Good Guys has the best price. After ordering online with store pick-up, I got an email the next day that the order is ready. Everything is all smooth at the store for pickup as well. The pick-up option gives the option if you can't wait for your purchase! No complaints overall.
The Good Guys are honestly the best online store out. $2 flat rate shipping storewide and it's fast! Fantastic order updates. Best prices.
I was looking for a blender and after a bit of research settled on a Kinetix Aero, I don't regret it one bit and The Good Guys seemed to have the best price, it even saved me going down to pick it up with the $2 delivery.
This is what a blender should be, solid, sturdy and powerful!
I was hesitant to buy a television online. I know that unscrupulous sellers often sell nasty B-grade electronics, or seconds, online, where they can't be examined properly.
But after researching a new flatscreen for ages, we found one online at the Good Guys for a super competitive price. We ordered it and were able to pick it up in-store the next day!
My checklist for buying a TV online.
1. Look at reviews and ratings - for the TV and the store you're buying it on.
2. Check which ports and features the TV has. Some stores will sell a crappy version of the same TV for a reduced price - i.e. same or similar model as the one you want, but without a USB or A/V port, and without proper ports for speakers etc.
So if you read a glowing review for a model of TV, make sure that when you're searching for it online, you find out which make you've actually found. The same TV can come in different makes.
3. Check whether there's one in stock, if possible. Some suppliers will sell TVs that are out of stock and then make you wait for them to come back in stock.
The Good Guys ticked all these boxes. They weren't trying to palm cheap stock off; the TV is amazing for the price, and we are so happy we bought it!
Wow, I'm so thrilled with The Good Guys, best online service I've ever had.
Not only was it extraordinarily easy to place my order with a variety of payment methods the shipping was only $2! Sitewide, all the time (yes, even dishwashers), $2!
I also received a call after I placed my order from the store allocated to my order just to let me know that they got it.
The shipping was quick as! And was left hidden by my door as I wasn't there.
The headphones are good however a slight hissing is present in the right ear which is annoying!
