Very Poor Customer service, I have spent over $2500.00 and felt like i knew the guys well down there. Previous to this I have always had a good experience, hence why I have been back and spent so much money. I was supplied the incorrect parts, took it back for exchange and the guys accused me of fitting the new crank set to my bike, and refused to swap for the correct crank set... I pointed out saying "This is not a very smart business idea this is brand new part, and I'm not after a refund just the correct part, I am here to spend more money" Their reply, "I'm smarter then you, we don't need your money we make a lot of money we are doing very well." I don't doubt they make money, but its just very rude and bad customer service. If you do buy from them check everything, and don't trust them.
I cycle from Melbourne eastern suburb to city twice a week. It's about 22km one way.
Cannot believe all these time I have been pumping my bike tyres using a hand pump without meter. My Continental GatorSkin tyres can pump up to 120 psi, I probably been pumping only up to 30-40 psi. So basically I have been riding my arses off on flat tyres...
I needed a proper floor pump with meter. Want to get a reliable floor pump but don't have couple hundred dollars to spend.
Luckily Cycling Deal they are selling Giyo High Pressure Floor Pump for only $13 dollars. I read reviews Giyo pumps have been reliable for the money. I mean for $13 dollars pump if it can last for an year that's pretty good already. I hear people spend 50-100 dollars for a floor pump and still they have problems with product.
Checked two other bike websites (wiggle.com and chainreaction.com) still Cycling Deal has the best offer.
Standard shipping cost is $9.45. The floor pump arrived today by FastWay courier. Cycling Deal packaged and dispatched the pump the day after I order, but it took about 5 business days for Fastway. Can't really fault Cycling Deal but I was hoping fasting overall delivery.
I managed to get up to 100 psi for my bike tyres. Can probably do 120 psi but just want to take it easy for now.
Cycling Deal also has a reward program where you get 1% credit for the amount of money you spent. Not much of a reward but better than nothing :)
I bought a set of Shimano SLX SL-M660 Shifters Triple 9 Speed from CyclingDeal for $46.65. Good price for the item but the shipping costed $15 so altogether $61.65 which is still not bad price.
