Awesome store for 'cool gadgets at the right price'!
I have been using dealextreme for a couple of years now and they consistently have the lowest prices on popular items such as USB cables, phone accessories and many others. Their head office is based in Hong Kong so all their shipments originate from there and can take a while, but they generally offer free shipping with most of their items. Highly recommended if you are looking for a bargain!
Deal Extreme is quite cheap and good for purchasing small novelty items and basic usbs, cables etc. The quality of the torches and usbs i purchased was reasonable for the price i paid, also taking into account the free shipping. The shipping took a while though because it was from Hong Kong. Generally, i am very pleased with Deal Extreme.
They sell cheap gadgets and small novelty items as well as replicas of popular products. Prices are cheap with free shipping generally, but some items can be found cheaper on eBay. Shipping and handling is quite slow. As long as you don't expect much item you should be satisfied, but you get what you pay for and items generally feel cheap.
We make it a point to visit DX whenever we are in need of any electronics before we shop else where. Free shipping and the lowest price. You canno beat Dx on price. Bought USB Bluetooth dongle and Car FM Streo Transmitter recently at the lowest price. Shipping is was prompt eventhough it took considerably longer considering domestic online sites due to the fact that items are shipped from HK

For under $10 shipped, not a huge investment to try it out.
The order was a little slow to be marked as shipped (2 weeks), with the item did arriving a month and 2 days later. So overall, approximately 7 weeks from date of purchase to having the item in hand.
More towards the slow end of delivery times, but still within my 2 month allowance.
As for the Google glasses. quite an interesting concept and can be fun to play with for a while. but there are more apps that need to be developed to support it before it really takes off.
As my first purchase from Deal Extreme, i'm not unhappy with the experience, but not blown away. I would consider purchasing from them again, but would prioritize other online stores first
