I ordered a 180 pack of Solgar Omnium multivitamins from this company and saved around $50 compared to buying locally,ordering was easy as,my order was shipped the next day and on my door step 2 weeks later so i was pretty happy with that.
iherb's prices and range of products are excellent. They stock many different brands and they often offer discounted "specials". They have a loyalty referral system. Their international shipping rates are extremely low. My last order was for Now Foods, Melatonin, 3 mg, 180 capsules and Solgar, Zinc Citrate, 30 mg, 100 veggie caps. Shipping from USA took a satisfactory 17 days.
My main purchase was a brush set. Since I didn't want to pay for the international shipping, I went ahead and purchased a few other smaller items to make use of the free international shipping they offered when buying above a certain amount.
Shipping took a month. And when I opened my parcel, the brush set was no where to be found. I wrote in twice to ask about it. The attitude they had was rude. All the staff said is that they don't re-ship international items and they will refund me the amount. I WANT MY PURCHASES NOT MY MONEY BACK! I wasn't even given a choice. So if I wanted my brushes, I'll have to go buy them and pay for shipping all over again when it wasn't even my fault. Worse still, the amount refunded was much lower than the amount of the item. I'm not sure whether they'll blame it on the exchange rate but the AUD-USD exchange rate is not that significantly different.
Horrible horrible experience. I will never recommend this site to anyone and will not purchase from there either.
On the 06/09/2012 i orded a 'Sundesa, Blender Bottle with Blender Ball' from Iherb,the item was dispatched the following day and i received it 14 days later (as usual)
I like iHerb because they have a huge selection of organic product in a reasonal price. I ordered some organic shampoo and toothpastes of various US brands and they do their jobs pretty well. The shipping from iHerb usually takes 2 to 3 weeks. However, I wish they can carry some more drugstore brands.
