Before Topshop came to Sydney, ordering online was the only option. I didn't mind it. It always offers free shipping to Australia when spending more than 50 British pounds, which is not hard. The prices are not really cheap for the quality, but if you are lucky there can be lots of good stuff at sales sections, but my size is out of stock quite often.
Also having to dealt with a return & refund case due to a faulty product, the procedure was relatively uneventful, despite having to shipping the product all the way back to UK. Topshop refunded the full price plus the shipping expense.
I just purchased a pair of MRS Gold Trim Slippers, a Black Double Buckle Skirt and a Navy Scallop Bikini set. The prices aren't always the lowest but for the quality and the amount of wears I get out of it, it is worth it. Everything fits well and runs true to size. My order arrived within 10 business days.
Bought a couple of items, a skater dress, green cable knit scarf, couple of accessories and a snood!
I'm definitely a fan of their £9 flat rate shipping. Plus their customer service is always very quick to reply any emails and shipment is fast.
And I was fairly pleased with the items that came in the mail! Especially the black skater dress, I've worn so many different ways now and it still held up in the wash. It didn't stretch or go all wonky and weird. Love it!
I purchased an item right before the holiday season and had it delivered in 3 days thanks to express shipping. It was £20 for express shipping, but it was done seamlessly. I agree that £9 is too much for standard shipping. My purchase was leather and of exceptional quality but from experience, I can't say the same for their cheaper items. I think there are better online retailers that are more competitive.
Topshop is a UK clothing website similar to Asos, but Asos generally has better sales. Shipping was pretty fast for me - a little over a week including weekends. Topshop opened up physical stores in Melbourne and Sydney but I think it's still cheaper on their website. Shipping is a flat 9 pounds, which is okay if you're buying a few items, but expensive if you're just buying one. Orders over 100 pounds qualify for free shipping. Their sizing calculator seems off. I bought a pair of shorts in the size it said I was and they were so big they were practically falling off my hips. Next time I bought some pants 2 sizes down and they fit much better. Their size chart makes it seem like they run small, but you should just get your normal size.

The shipping did take a while but I'd say that's more on AusPost's end as the processing time was fast.
A variety of payment methods were available along with quick email notifications and the products are excellent quality but a little expensive.
