Customer service, what customer service?!
Purchased Christmas/birthday gifts for my nephews and niece, they arrived in a suitable time frame. I returned an item for refund and received confirmation from Australia Post, Lime Tree Kids received the item on 22/12/14.
By 05/01/15 my refund still had not been processed (I put it down to holiday season), so I sent an email following up, and then another email on 09/01/15. During this time I gave my nephew one of the items purchased as a birthday gift on 04/01/15 it turned out to be faulty. So on 13/01/15 I left a voicemail and emailed again to follow up on the refund and to advise of the faulty toy. I received a 1 line response informing me Dawn has contacted her supplier. I replied seeking further clarification.
On 15/01/15 still having not received any update on my refund, I emailed AGAIN.. Surprisingly I received a response, again one line advising the refund has been processed. Checking my account today, indeed I did receive a refund but not for my returned item but for the faulty toy (great). So here I am on the 16/01/15 almost a month after returning the item and 2 weeks of chasing, sending another email threatening to raise a transaction dispute with my bank to recoup the funds. To my surprise I have just received (as I've been typing this review) pay pal confirmation stating that the refund has been processed, horray! And an email apology too!
I can't express how utterly disappointing and frustrating this experience has been, a customer service relationship shouldn't be so onerous on the customer.

SENT WRONG ITEM
I am incredibly disappointed with this store's service. I ordered a present for my friend's baby shower, and when it arrived it was the completely wrong order - I got sent plastic bug bath squirters instead. My order summary that was attached to the parcel had my correct order on it, however for some reason the contents were completely wrong. I have sent the store an email, however it has already a couple of days and I have had no response. Suffice it to say I will have to do some last minute shopping so that I don't turn up empty handed for the shower.
I ordered some birthday presents for my daughter including a set of pink art buckets. I got a call the next week saying the pink was out if stock and if I wanted blue or red. The option if canceling was not presented. I chose the blue but what arrived was a very dark navy blue which looks disgusting. I emailed the store but no compensation was offered and my request to be removed from their mailing list was ignored.
