This place is a scam
Let me be honest. Their styles are so cute! I thought that I finally found the one favorite website I could go back to all the time. So despite some of the bad reviews on here, I went ahead and ordered anyways because I decided to trust them. That was a bad idea. First of all, when I placed my order for the dress on March 11th, they took about a day to process my payment which somewhat reassured me. And then I received an email about it saying that my order was shipped on the March 18th saying that I will get a tracking number on the following Monday. Well I don't know what Monday they are talking about because I NEVER GOT THE FLIPPIN EMAIL. So I told myself that it's okay they probably forgot, which is pretty unprofessional, mind you. So I proceeded to send them several emails over the course of the new few days inquiring for the tracking number. I never. got. a reply. I am so mad right now because I'm a student who works her butt off at her part time job, okay. I can't afford to just throw money away like this. How in the world does this company even stay in business? If this isn't a scam, I don't even know what it is. I was so excited for the dress but now I don't want to even see it. I just want my damn money back. If I could give negative stars I would, no question about it.
I am very happy with my dress that I bought from Lucy in the Sky! However, I ordered it on the 5th of April and it did not come until the 23rd. While I understand that the package was coming to PA all the way from Australia, I still was shocked at how long it took. On top of that, apparently I needed to sign for it, and no one was home. I had to go pick it up from the post office the day after attempted delivery. I was pretty annoyed to have to wait ANOTHER day and have to go out of my way to get it. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that I would need to be home to sign for it. I understand this is just a safety precaution on their end and they don't want my package to get stolen, and I do appreciate that, but I've never heard of signing for a $20 dress! Also, the items on Lucy in the Sky sell out EXTREMELY fast, and they don't send pictures of what you ordered in your receipt. I actually forgot what the dress looked like! So I suggest taking photos of whatever you bought for that reason, lol. If you are from the US, and want to order a dress for a specific event, just know you probably won't get it for 3-4 weeks! So keep that in mind! I love my dress and am overall happy, now that the waiting is over. I probably won't shop there again, just because I'm impatient, not because of them. But I do recommend it if you don't mind waiting.
This is the most in unorganized online shop I have ever shopped at!!! No only did the clothing never arrive!! I'm now chasing the money 2 months later! Promised a refund on 4march Within 72 hours and TO DATE IM STILL WAITING!! With all they excuses under the sun, we are moving to LA we are looking into it blah blah blah.Pay my money you SCAMMERS
I purchased a dress and once again the size and the measurement were completely wrong. They said they would send a express post bag that the company provid and 5 weeks later and I'm still waiting for it. I have sent 3 msg to customer service to let them no I'm still waiting (I have screen shot proof) and no one has contacted me back. So now I'm minus $54.95 and stuck with a oversized dress. This company is a perfect example of why people are so sceptical about buying online.
I have made a total of 11 purchases at Lucy in the sky and have spent hundreds of dollars at their store. The pricing is AMAZING. I am an avid online shopper and find the same dress, always more expensive than Lucy. Quality is goood too. HOWEVER, I have had two orders never received. The first order, was $93. I never received it. I called the couriers please, they said nothing could be done. I called Lucy, they said it was a matter of the couriers. The courier driver said he placed it inside my mailbox, however I live in an apartment and only have a little slit wide enough for a letter, not a package with three dresses. I called the couriers two more times, both times they said they would get back to me and never did. So I lost almost $100 and received nothing.
The second time the same thing happened, the package was lost, I called couriers, he said it was delivered when it hadn't been, and then I called Lucy and she said they can't do anything. I called back a few days later and spoke to someone else, she gave me a full refund ($45) for the lost item which was helpful, just wish something was done about my first item.
Lucy was definitely my favourite online shop however I no longer can shop here due to it happening twice.
I purchased shoes which were apparently a size 6 however actually measured to a size 8, pants which were size 8 but measured to a size 12 and previous to this a size XS on the website arrived as a S/M.
However in order to return these wrongful items I am unable to get my money back and will receive a store credit.... AHHHHHH!!! Hello, I simply Do Not Want a store credit-I want my money back and I sure as hell Will not wear any out of pocket expenses as suggested I will by the incapable service team at Lucy in the Sky!
Get it together and clearly state that your sizing is a JOKE!!!
So much for the 'consumer/customer always being right???" Maybe some sort of mission statement needs to be taken into consideration here.
NEVER again will I part with another dollar to Lucy in the Sky, Nor will I have a single good thing to say... And Im a regular go to online shopper, I AM WITHOUT SPEECH!!!

Hi Jacqui, we appreciate your feedback. We have offered you to pay return postage fees to return both items back to us and to refund both items if they found to be mislabeled or not consistent with the sizing chart. Please get back to our customer service girls if you wish to use this option.
Actually.... You had offered to pay the return postage and were to put a postage paid bag in the post (which I'm sure has not yet been done) So it seems to me its not just the quality and consistency of your products, but service also.
Jacqui, I have bought products from Lucy in the Sky and had very few issues. Your rating and comments about my favourite shop is the only thing that is shocking. Play fair!
I order from Lucy at least every other week. And sometimes 2 times in one week. Every single thing I have ordered has been awesome. The 2 day arrival is badass & they have an amazing selection of new items every single day! This site is awesome for maxi dress which my bod is obsessed with. I've recently gotten into play suits & have a couple from here, as well. I love that they have tons of unique items.
**Warning: size do run large. Of you're a size 4-6 AUS, size 6 is the smallest they carry & expect it to be a bit large. I stick to flowy, drapy sexy stuff with very low back cut styles &/or low, flowy in the front. You can't go wrong with that formula.
**Discounts! You get a small discount with every order, if you've ordered at least once. Register your email & get their daily new arrival email which, if you're like me, will make you angry with temptation!
**Cons: Seriously. S**t sells out way. Too. Fast. Do you guys stock like 10 pieces for each size, or what?!
**Quality: my opinion is that it varies. A lot. However, I guess I've been quite lucky as everything I've ordered has held up quite well. This is a trendy clothing site, take advantage of their awesome prices & enjoy playing with the current trends & not worrying about wasting a lot on of money because the prices are so reasonable. Honestly, I don't remember everything I typed up there, but I hope I helped in some way! :)
